K-Y jelly is meant to be used as a lubricant. How and what you lubricate is up to you! You can use this lube for anal play, masturbation, any type of sex or sometimes other uses. I use this lubricant for masturbation only.

This lube can be used for easy toy insertion or also for women who need a little extra help inserting tampons.

Being water-based, this lube does not work well in the shower, bath or a pool/hot tub.

The product is water based, but comes out somewhat thick as most jelly lubes do. It can be rubbed in easily and is smooth to the touch. It comes out of the tube clear and isn't runny at all.

This lube is not flavored, so it probably isn't best for oral purposes. It doesn't really have a scent, if so it was too slight for me to even detect. For prolonged use sometimes this lubricant will dry up, but I would simply use saliva and not have to reapply.

This product lasts during an entire session for me without reapplication. If I have a session longer than 10 minutes, I will simply reactivate it with saliva instead of having to reapply. It takes a fairly small amount, just a thin-medium layer for my purposes. Those using the lube for toy insertion will most likely require a bit more, to be safe. It washes off extremely well since it's water based and I don't ever need to use soap, just water. It leaves behind no scent after being washed away and your skin feels like it did before using the product.

This lube comes in 2 sized tubes; 2 and 4 oz. Because I do not use this often I tend to stick to the 2oz, which lasts me for quite a while. K-Y jelly contains: Purified water, Glycerin, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Chlorhexidine Gluconate, Gluconolactone, Methylparaben, and Sodium Hydroxide.

The tube itself is pretty small and could be hidden easily, although it isn't discreet because most people will instantly notice the words "personal lubricant" on the tube. The lid snaps on and off and this tube can be opened with one hand. It is easy to squeeze out, but shouldn't leak unless you apply a lot of pressure to the tube.

I rated this product 3 out of 5 stars. The fact that it contains both Glycerin and Parabens means that it may not be great for women or people concerned with parabens. It also isn't as good as some of the other water-based lubes out there.
