Adds a Little Spice to Your Massage

Swede Flower Power Massage oil is a perfect addition to any massages you give or receive. This oil will most likely replace whatever massage oil you already own. There are no downfalls to this oil at all. You will rave about the feeling and the length of the massage the oil provides.

Use

The Swede Flower Power Massage Oil is a great massage oil that lasts a very long time. It is a great product that does not leave your skin feeling greasy or oily after the massage is over. I used this product with my husband as soon as I got it in the mail. We started out giving each other a back massage just to see how well it works. It was one of the best massages I have ever had and given. Even though this product is labeled in the lubricant area, I would advise against it. Mainly because one of the main ingredients is paraffinum liquidum, which is a fancy name for mineral oil. If using a condom, the oil in this massage oil will compromise the integrity of a latex condom. It is a perfect massage oil that also nourishes the skin since it has many nourishing oils in it. A quick run down of the oils in this product: Sweet Almond oil, Avocado oil, Jojoba oil, Macadamia Nut oil, and Hemp Seed oil. It also has Vanilla extract, Ylang Ylang extract and Chili extract which makes the scent absolutely intoxicating. All the oils combined will make your skin nice and slick for a perfect massage every time.

When I got this oil, I really thought that it was going to be very liquid like in texture. I was pleasantly surprised when I gave my husband a massage. It seemed to come out as a thin liquid and was a little runny on my husbands back. Yet once I started to spread it around on his back, it seemed to become a little bit thicker, and just one pump was enough to cover his whole back. What made it even better is that the consistency made it that you did not have to re-apply the oil. The oil stayed on his back, and after about a half an hour, the oil started to absorb into his skin. Like I said earlier, the oil may seem thin at first but looks are deceiving. Another high point with this oil is that it washes off very easily with no residue like some other oils. My husband wanted to give me a massage right away so we only used a damp washcloth and the oil came off completely. When he gave me my massage, the feeling of the oil was not overpowering. I was able to feel his hands glide nicely across my back. The oil also was not too slippery because I was able to feel the pressure of his fingers when he was giving me a deep tissue massage using the oil. All in all, the oil has the perfect texture and thickness for massage oil.

Taste / Aroma

First off, I have to say this oil is not edible, so please do not try it. It contains mineral oil and that is a laxative. Now onto the scent of this wonderful massage oil. I know this will sound confusing but the scent of the oil is complex yet simple. At first I was not able to tell what exactly the scent was. Honestly I still cannot pin point what it smells like. When I was giving my husband his massage, I smelled a hint of vanilla with a dash of chili flakes. Then after a few minutes it started to smell almost like cotton candy but with a bit of spice to it. Then this is where it gets a little weird and where the complexity of the scent is. I asked my husband how it smelled to him. He told me that the oil smelled like black pepper with a hint of sweetness. I asked him if he had smelled any vanilla, he told me he did not smell any vanilla at all. At the end of his massage he said it started to smell like bubble gum to him. I am still not sure why this oil had its own unique scent for both of us.

Performance

I absolutely adore how long this oil lasts for. I have never had an oil that lasts as long as this oil does. I never had a massage oil last for an hour or more, yet this oil did just that. Believe me when I say that your hands will hurt before you would even have to re-apply more of this oil. The slick feeling of the oil helps to make the massage feel amazing. Since there is no sticky feeling, you don’t have this nasty feeling on your skin. I have used quite a few massage oils before, and this one is top notch. It even has a slight warming effect when you rub it on your skin. It is not an overwhelming warmth. It is a nice, relaxing, and warm sensation. It washes off easily, and you can even use it as an after bath moisturizing oil. This oil seems to be very versatile, which I like in my massage oils.

Packaging

There really is not a lot to say about the packaging of this oil. It comes in an adorable gray box. On the box is a silhouette of a fairy, which I thought was very cute. On one side of the box is a description of the oil in seven different languages. It seems to be pretty discreet since the box doesn’t show that much unless you have a nosy person reading the whole box. Also if you leave the bottle out, it just looks like a bottle of moisturizer. The bottle itself is just a gray bottle with the name on the front and a small logo. The back of the bottle has the ingredients and same description in seven languages, just like on the box. The best feature about the bottle is that it is a pump top bottle. Since we have been using it, there has been no leaking problem from the top. Unlike other bottles of massage oil, the pump makes things less messy.

Experience

I simply adore this massage oil. My husband and I have been using this oil every day since we received it. I have to say that this is going to be our go to massage oil. I do have to say that this oil is expensive, but it will be well worth the money. After using it everyday, it still feels like the bottle is full. Both my husband and I have tight muscles in our back and using this oil daily has helped our pains so much. We feel so entwined when we give each other a massage, that we feel so much closer. This oil has made our normal massages have a more sensual feel.
Follow-up commentary
I still love this massage oil! After a month of having this massage oil, there is still a lot left in the bottle. I use this oil every single night. I have recommended it to so many of my friends I think they are getting sick of me talking about it. I will be buying more of this oil once the bottle runs out. It has been a godsend for me.

Isn't the aroma amazing with this stuff? To me it just smells soft and warm with a hint of spice. I get the black pepper reference, totally. The chili in it can definitely come across as just peppery and, I think, tends to do so more on male skin. On me it smells warmer and more vanilla-like. Must have to do with our individual hormones.

Great review and glad you liked it! It's my favorite these days, too, though I'm selfish and horde it to myself.

Carrie Ann: It simply is amazing! I think you may be onto something with our individual hormones. I never had a product that has varying scents for different people. I love it to death and once I use up the bottle I am buying another, the price does not matter that is how much I love it. haha
