While I adore natural lube, I've recently discovered just how useful a synthetic lubricant can be. Planning on a handjob for your fellow or if you're a guy looking for a good lube to use for jacking off (or, handling your firearm, as it were)? Grab this! With a runny consistency and a slimey after feel, I just can't give Gun Oil a shining review. It's frustrating to use. Instead of absorbing into the skin, it sits on top and dries quickly. There's little lubrication, but the slikness of it might be good for anal play.
No scent.
No taste.
Might be good for anal.
Messy.
Stains.
Leaves me slimey.

Overall, a terrific lubricant for those looking for the highest level of slippery and slickness! This lubricant is truly worth every penny because it works and feels great. It is safe for condom use and has moisturizing properties and components, such as Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. One of the best silicone based lubes out there and thee best silicone based lube for the price, hands down. Gun Oil is great for all kinds of bedroom play and will last a long time when you're doing it. Although the bottle can be difficult to open when lubed, it is small price to pay to have one of the best experiences you can include in your sex lives. Everyone should have a silicone based lube, and this one is it.

Gun Oil silicone lube is worth the purchase. It's a great, long lasting, slippery lube, but if you're looking for an easy cleanup this is not the lube for you.

You really can't go wrong with silicone lubes, but Gun Oil seems to have something that may of the others don't. While it provides the same long lasting, very slick, non-sticky feeling of other silicone-lubricants, Gun Oil combines all that with the inclusion of Vitamin E and aloe to leave your skin feeling silky. It's great for doubling as a massage lotion, and a little bit will definitely go a long way! Gun Oil is most definitely worth a purchase!

If you're a fan of silicone lube and you are looking for quality and longevity at a good price, this is a great choice for you. A little goes a long way, and provides a nice silky slip to your play. Perfect for handjobs / jerking off and anal penetration. Clean up requires soap and water. Although the bottle is masculine and designed for function over aesthetics, the 8 ounces inside are bound to last you a long time.

I love, love, love this item. Personally, it's in my top three lubes. They are all tied for the top spot for different reasons. I love its lack of smell, and the way it feels. I mean, for a water based, I love this more than my toys sometimes. Seriously, this lube makes manual stimulation as awesome as it was when I just figured out what masturbation was. If you're alone or with your partner it is a good choice. However, just for everyone to know. It does have parabens.

Maximus is one of the best lubricants that I have tried so far. It is long lasting and stays where you place it, without leaving a sticky residue behind. Bodywise Limited created an amazing lubricant I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great water based lube!

If you want to train up to larger toys or larger body parts, a lube with a lot of cushion will be of great value to you. It's worth paying a little higher price for the comfort. Additionally, if plug retention is part of your pleasure seeking, the staying power of Maximus is an excellent choice.

I think the product functions well, however I would not purchase this item again. The burning sensation really takes away from the whole experience. It should be pleasurable, not painful.

After hearing everyone rave about Maximus I had to order a bottle. After trying it for myself, I'm confused about all the fuss. I prefer thick lubes, but I'm just not a fan of the texture of Maximus. It performs pretty well for a water based lube, but doesn't last as long as my hybrids.
Won't drip, fairly long lasting, pump top bottle, for some: no glycerin.
Arrived gritty, feels goopy, for some: parabens.

We use this on a variety of toys, from glass, silicone to plastic. With each product we have not had any issues with the consistency, unlike we've had with a few other brands of lube that we've used.

I really like this lube - it's thick but easy to spread, and works well for pretty much everything except oral - the taste is...unfortunate. Only reason to avoid it is if you've had issues with parabens before.

Maximus remains my favourite lubricant for anal, and though it isn't my favourite vaginal lube - that distinction goes to Liquid Silk - I have no aversion to using it if it's the first one that I grab out of the drawer, despite it's messiness. Just keep it away from your taste buds!

Like sticking things inside you? Like sticking your thing in other things? Grab some of this Maximus and you'll be sticking things everywhere. This lube raises the bar for a water-based formula and puts the others out there to shame. It's thick, slippery, and makes for an amazing anal lube. With over 1000 votes, this can easily be the most popular lube on EF. It has an excellent price/value/quantity ratio and will last for some time (the bottle that is, and the lube on you). Aside from its bad taste and some allergy concerns, it's still recommended to give it a try. It can become your go-to lube for regular sex!

If you've felt a slight burning sensation upon insertion, don't even think about choosing Maximus. If you've never felt discomfort using lube, why risk it? This is an awesome lubricant. I have seriously purchased 3 more bottles just to keep them around, but I doubt I will run out any time soon. I will probably end up giving one or two bottles away as a gift. This is great for women prone to yeast infections or UTI's and I wish I had known about this stuff sooner! Perfect for everyone!

Maximus is a great, long-lasting, glycerine free, water based lube that I highly recommend to everyone. It has parabens so I would avoid this if you think it might be a problem. It is nice and thick and doesn't need to be reapplied which makes this a great alternative to silicone lubes. It has a nice smooth glide to it and doesn't become sticky, tacky, or stringy.

Don't let the bad taste of the Maximus deter you from purchasing this product. It is so easy to dispense the lube and it is so effective at doing what it must do. If I had to choose one waterbased lube for the rest of my life it would have to be the maximus. It is good all around for both anal and vaginal and it is safe with all toys. Again, I don't know why I waited so long to try it!

If you're looking for an anal lube that will work in a lot of different situations, buy Maximus. I haven't found anything better for it. If you're looking for a general purpose lube, or for something for a more specific kind of experience, you might shop around, but Maximus is a great place to start.

Maximus is, hands down, the best lube I have ever tried (out of about a dozen!). It satisfies everything I want from a lube, especially the complete lack of stickiness! It's also long lasting, perfectly thick, exceptionally slippery, and never stains.

Give it a try and see if it is for you. Find out if you can tolerate the taste. (I could) The feeling of the lube was natural and did not leave a feeling of sticky residue. It did not leave me running for the bathroom right after to wash it off.

Maximus by itself is too slippery for masturbation. You can't get a good grip! However, mixing Maximus with Cetaphil moisturizing lotion changes the experience entirely, luxurious sensation! Works well in the shower.

This lube is flippin amazing, period. I would be happy if it simply didn't cause my skin to break out left and right! Maximus has truly won me over. Like anyone, he has his downfalls- parabens, and a bitter taste- but since they don't affect me I can see past them. If you're looking for something sweet to lick off of your partner's body, you'll want to find another lube. Maximus is a wonderful deal and a fantastic lubricant. It is not sticky. It lasts forever and is perfect for anal intercourse (as well as vaginal and masturbation). Maximus has very quickly become my go-to lube. Because it is water based, I don't have to be careful as to what toys to use it with and can be washed off of skin, clothes, and most fabrics easily. It provides a great thick layer of slipperiness that I've never found in another lube without a runny consistency. Amazing for anal and great for any other kind of play you're into.

Maximus looks like a sweet deal because it is made of highly purified water and helps cut down on infections. But reapplication is needed as it dries fast and becomes flaky. Maximus is not a great lubricant for use with sex toys, but may be alright for someone wanting slickness during intercourse.

The main selling point for me was the antibacterial properties of this product, this is a huge incentive. I'm not personally aware of any other product that has this feature. The con that I listed, although it might turn some people off it REALLY isn't that big of a deal. I felt that I needed to be critical though being that this is a review and it is tough to come up with a negative for this product.

Maximus is a thick lubricant, and as far as my body is concerned, it is great for anal play but not so great for vaginal play. Nothing will ever beat natural lubricant of course, but this is a decent substitute. Maximus is not a wise choice for small storage spaces, since it's a pump top. There is no obnoxious scent, but there is a bitter taste. So be sure to wash any area coated in Maximus, before sticking a tongue there. Maximus is also rather pricey.
Worked great for anal play, doesn't stain or damage condoms or toys, easier to wash off.

Maximus is an absolutely wonderful lubricant. It is water-based which means that it is safe to use with all your toys, condoms, whatever. It is nice and thick which makes it great for anal sex. Probe Thick and Rich is everything that I hoped for. It excelled at what lubricants do best -- lubricating. It's not a massage oil or a flavored liquid for oral sex. Probe Thick & Rich is a fine all-purpose lube-- just be aware that there are some aspects which might not work for you. Water based, safe for toys & condoms, it's also really economical for the amount you get, but I could see someone being disappointed in their investment if they didn't like it.
Paraben-free, comes in a pump bottle, affordable for the quantity you get.

Astroglide X is by far the top intimate moisturizer for our needs. It feels good, provides great frictionless activity and is long lasting. It has never failed us. Silicone based, no glycerine, making it safe for use with latex toys and latex condoms. A tad more expensive than other lubes, including the other Astroglide lubes, but is worth shelling out your hard earned $$$--a little bit goes a long way and does not need reapplication at those pivotal moments.

Astroglide X just can't hold up to two lube sluts at all. It just isn't as strong as a silicone based lube should be. Feels more like a light water based lube than anything. Just not worth the money at all.

With some exceptions, this is just not a great lubricant. We use this lube for certain situations, but it is not our everyday lube. The lube is very oily, greasy, and difficult to wash off. There are better silicone lubes for the same money.

While having a readily available silicone lube is attractive, Astroglide X disappoints. I found it too thick, sticky, and cloying to enjoy, and required too much reapplication that I shouldn't have to deal with in a silicone lube.

This product was very disappointing. My wife had been wanting to try anal, but wanted to try a better lube than what we already had. We had tried this product a couple of times with no luck. It is a good slick lube, and if you are allergic to synthetics or just want to go organic it will do the trick for you. It is a bit pricey, but does the job adequately if you don't mind interrupting the action to slick it up again.

This is a healthy water based lube. It works good for vaginal play, though it's not ideal for anal. It stays quite viscous for being water based. Here it is, my favorite lube. There is no end-all be-all of lubricants but this has certainly improved my opinion of water based lubes, especially water based lubes which can also be used for anal play. Sliquid Booty is fairly eco-friendly and good for people with sensitive bodies. Honestly, I find no tragic flaws in this product. This is an average water based lube that surprisingly didn't cause any reaction from my body. It lasts a reasonably long time and despite being stringy and a bit slimy it does the job for anal sex, PIV sex, toy usage and hand jobs. Affordable, and natural- it's no more imperfect than your own natural lubricants, and it replicates those absolutely perfectly. Get a smaller bottle for solo use, but the pump bottle for messy, slick partner fun.

This is one of the best water-based lubes I have used. It can be used for anything, with anything. You can't ask for much more then that. Add in the long lasting and lack of stickiness, and you have a clear winner.

Mr. Ease anal spray is designed to relax the sphincters with out and kind of numbing. Just apply, rub it in and wait a short time before getting to it. Its is compatible with all lubes and is condom safe.
This product is a bit of a quandary for me, aside from it containing silicone (so it is not suitable for some materials), I don't really have any reason to say not to use it. Of course I have only a few good experiences, which may or may not have been genuine, to say try it.

The Back it up anal gel is anal lubricant that is designed to make anal play fun, when in all actuality, it made anal play annoying and messy. The lubricant is too runny to be of any real use unless you are playing lightly, or with small toys. The product itself makes claims that aren't true about it having all natural ingredients. This makes me distrust this company and their lube.
