Aqua, or as I like to say, "Water!"

Wicked Aqua Sensitive is a good choice for those who are more interested in going solo. Since this is a water based lube, it is compatible with a ton of sex toy materials. Unfortunately, you will find yourself reapplying this lube several times during a single session, and more if you are using this for intercourse. Aqua is clear, will not stain your clothing, and is scentless. This lube is a little bit runny and would make a poor choice for anal sex.

Use

Aqua Sensitive is a vegan friendly, water based lubricant developed by the wonderful people over at Wicked! Aqua Sensitive is a good choice for those who would like to play by themselves with either their hands or a toy, but due to its thin consistency it makes for a poor choice for intercourse. Wicked's Aqua Sensitive is designed to increase sensitivity, but the jury is still out on that. One of the truly great aspects of this lube is the fact that it never gets sticky or greasy, and it's easy to rinse off.

Aqua Sensitive is glycerin and paraben free, and the ingredients include: Water, Propylene Glycol, Tocopheryl Acetate, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe) Leaf Extract, Allantoin, Olea Europaea (Olive) Leaf Extract, Cellulose Gum, Hydrocyethylcellulose, Tetrasodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Sorbate.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Wicked Aqua Sensitive goes on fairly thin and absorbs into the skin fairly quickly. Aqua does not feel sticky nor greasy when wet, or when it's dried on your skin. While this lube is a little runny, it does feel smooth.

Taste / Aroma

A huge plus is the face that this lube is scentless, so you do not have to worry about being put off by any unwanted scent.

Taste is very subjective, everyone knows this. I can not nail down a certain taste to this, but I can say that while it does have a somewhat strong taste, the taste is not that bad. I found that the taste seemed to fade quickly.

Performance

This is lube is best used for toys, but does an all right job with sex with a partner. This lube would be a poor choice for anal sex, but will work all right for vaginal or oral sex (if you can handle the taste). Unfortunately, this lube needs to be reapplied a few times during a session which really limits it, hence the words it's just "all right" for sex. This lube is way too thin and runny for anal sex, but it works pretty well for toy play.

The one area this lube excels in is toy play. This is a water-based lubricant; therefore, it can be used on any kind of sex toy material without fear of damaging the materials. This lube works great for items like Fleshlights, which have super sensitive materials. This lube also does a decent job when playing with your bare hands. All this being said, I still found myself having to reapply during solo use.

Possibly the best quality of this lube is the ease of washing it off. This lube comes off very easily, as easy as just pouring water over the skin. It is still recommended that you use soap as well.

Packaging

Wicked Aqua Sensitive has an incredibly stylish bottle with a discreet quality to it. If one were to see this on a shelf, in a medicine cabinet, or on your dresser, it would easily pass as a perfume/cologne or an aftershave. The plastic container is dark (black) tinted, but retains some transparency, albeit very little. The words "Wicked" are printed on the front in a metallic silver shade. The word "Aqua" is in a metallic teal just underneath the word "Wicked". The metallic text is wonderful: it is very shiny and draws the eye quite well, but will not draw too much attention.

While being discreet and very attractive to the eye, the container is also functions very well. The bottle is leak proof and durable; a drop should not break or burst the container, making spills almost impossible. Most importantly, this is very easy to dispense and does not take a large amount of pressure in order to dispense.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Does not leak
    • Easy to use / dispense

Personal comments

According to the container, this is designed to increase sensitivity. I for one did not notice any added sensitivity to the area. It was interesting to see that this was supposed to increase sensitivity when so many products on the market are developed to desensitize. That was not the only questionable statement made on the back of the container, "Long lasting" also showed up. This can be seen as wishful thinking on the developers' part.

All in all, this is a decent lube, one that is best used alone or in conjunction with toys. I am giving this a three star rating.

Aw. I'm really disappointed to hear this did nothing for you in terms of increasing sensitivity. I've had wonderful luck with these Wicked lubes. I like the regular Aqua a lot! It's very thin, runny, but lasts longer than most silicone lubes I've used, so I love it. I also like how easy it is to wipe away since I use a lot of my lubricant just for daily insertion of kegel balls, and I don't want a mess. The regular Aqua lubricant is one of my favorites, aside from an organic lube, of course, but I am very fond of it. I had this one on my wishlist too, but now am very hesitant about messing with it since I already have decent sensitivity increasing lubes. Better not waste $ on this one.

Excellent review though! I enjoyed it very much. It's super useful.

I have the pomegrante flavored one and really like it. Thank you for sharing, it's sad that it didn't increase any sensitivity. I wasn't sure if they were naming it sensitive because it didn't contain glycerine and the others did or that so thank you for clarifying. I love products that actually make me more sensitive.

Nice review! I was looking for a water based lube free of parabens and glycerine that is also long lasting. I love my sliquids but was hoping to find something that lasted longer. Thanks for the review!
