Are you sure that's not silicone?

What's the one thing that every toy box should not be without? A good quality lube of course. System JO H2O is a good choice for your toy and penetrative play needs. A long lasting and great feeling lube, you might even think it is a silicone based lube. Yes, it is that good.

Use

A good water based lube can not be beat; it is suitable for all materials, condom safe and washes off easily with just a wet wash cloth. The feel of this lube is silky smooth and almost feels like a woman's natural lube. Apply to your area of choice and to your toys for friction free play. System Jo H2O is a fine choice for your lubricating needs.

Ingredients listed on the bottle;(INIC)Propyl Paraben, Methyl Paraben, Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose, Glycerin, Purified Water (aqua)

As you can see it does contain Parabens and Glycerin, so those with allergies to these may want to stay away.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

System Jo H20 is somewhat thin in consistency and pours easily, but you have to give the bottle a squeeze to get it to come out. That really helps to get it where you need while not wasting any. On the skin it will run some but once you rub it around it will stay put.

To me, it feels like a good quality silicone lube: silky, very slippery and lasts almost as long. This makes it perfect for PIV and toy play. It also works pretty good for light anal play. Once it does dry out, it leaves the skin soft with no residue to speak of.

Taste / Aroma

There is a slight sweet taste to it, but you have to lick it quite a bit to taste it. There is no smell. These are great qualities in a lube - you can have sex and then some oral without having to wash off first.

Performance

I had no problems with this lube lasting through my solo play using various strokers and anal toys. With the strokers it only took one application to the toy and some to my penis, typically lasting 30-45 min. Anally it did require a second application, but that is more due to the anus acting like a squeegee and not the lube. During sex it only took one application to last an hour or more, this included foreplay with some toys and intercourse.

After the fun time was over, we found no need to wash it off. If you find the need, a simple wet wash cloth is all you will need.

Packaging

Simple packaging; the bottle wrapped in a plastic bag. The bottle has information on use, the ingredients and warnings on irritation. The bottle is made using #1 plastic so it can be recycled after it is empty.

The cap it a click open type top and is easily used with one hand. I had no problems with leaking.

It does say "Personal lubricant" on the front, so it may not be the best for leaving out for others to find. The ladies could always just say it is for vaginal dryness, guys on the other hand will have no such luck.

Personal comments

We had no problems with this lube, even though the wife was a bit hesitant to use it. She has some reactions to some lubes, so I totally understand. I am happy to have a good lube to use with my strokers that mimics the feel of silicone lube. It works best with my Fleshlight and Maven. After using a thicker lube for so long with them it is like trying the toys for the first time.

      As of right now my favorite brand is Maximus
    • I haven't had a chance to try out the System Jo or Maximus but I don't mind KY Jelly or ID lube. The Wet Silicone lube isn't bad either but it barely gets used to be honest.
