As Close To Natural As It Gets!

Overall, Pink Water is one of the best lubes that I've ever used. If you're looking for a thin, natural-feeling, water-based lube - this is it.

Pros:
Feels natural, not too slick, package somewhat discreet..
Cons:
Not so great taste.

Use

So far, I've had great success using Pink Water for handjobs, vaginal fingering, vaginal sex, male masturbation sleeves, and clit/vaginal vibrators. Although it may be too thin for anal sex, I suspect that Pink Water would work well for anal fingering as well. The thinness of the lube lends itself well to blending in with natural vaginal moisture, allowing for a less distracting integration into any vaginal play. This, to me, is the real highlight of this product. Pink Water is as close to natural feeling as I have ever felt a lube get.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

I have found Pink Water to be fairly slick on first application, although not the unnaturally super-slick created by some other water-based lubes such as Liquid Silk, or Gun Oil H20. When pumped out of the bottle, the liquid is fairly runny, and will slide right off of your skin unless worked in a little bit. Overall, I think this lube is particularly well suited for any kind of vaginal play as it blends in so well with a girl's natural vaginal moisture.

Taste / Aroma

No noticeable aroma. Taste is slightly sweet, in an artificial sweetener sort of way, thanks to the aspartame included in the ingredients. While this doesn't add anything to the experience, it doesn't taste any worse than most other lubes I've tried. Still, if you're looking for a lube to involve with oral sex, this should probably not be your top choice.

Performance

Pink Water has been a great all-around lube for my girlfriend and I, with the caveat that we've never used it for any anal play. One of my girlfriend's primary complaints with other lubes is that they typically feel thick, tacky, or otherwise so foreign to her body, and that their use during any kind of vaginal penetration is distracting and unpleasant for her.

Thankfully, we've found Pink Water.

Although thinner than some lubes (such as Liquid Silk), Pink Water provides an ample amount of slippery, non-tacky lubrication at least as good as the next water-based lube. While we have found frequent reapplication to be necessary when using a condom, it rarely takes more than one or two squirts of Pink Water to last us throughout a handjob or play session with our toys. As much as I love this lube, however, it will still get tacky if you are in for an extended handjob session. Most importantly, however, when mixed with natural vaginal moisture, Pink Water feels about as close to natural as a lube can get. Whereas vaginal sex with other lubes often feels unnatural, foreign, and distracting, Pink Water continues to blend seamlessly into our sexual adventures.
    • Feels natural
    • Gets sticky

I love Pink products myself, the silicone lube is one of my favorites and the Pink Water definitely gets the job done.

    • I love the Pink silicone, so I'm surprised to hear the water-based is no good.

I know my standards were so high for the water based and it just didn't live up to expectations

  • Length?
    • Which lube do you find lasts the longest without getting gross?
    • System JO seems to work pretty good for water based lubes, Better Sex essentials is the best I have tried when it comes to Silicone based.
    • I love pink silicone. The stuff lasts forever, but if we're talking water-based, so far I've been liking Blossom Organics (which I think is only sold on their website), but I don't have tons of experience with the water-based stuff.

  • packaging
    • how much does packaging influence your purchase? for me, the gawdy and tacky packaging is a total turn off- even if it has high ratings! should you really judge a lube by its cover?
    • I agree, I tend to be turned off by ridiculous packaging. I like things to be nicely designed and I am definitely more inclined to purchase those sorts of things.

I actually like pink water's packaging...

In general no I wouldn't be turned off a highly rated lube if I didn't like its packaging. I'm not buying it for what it looks like, I'm buying it for how it works.
