Astroglide - lubricant by BioFilm - review by Heartthrob

I was introduced to lubricants through Astroglide. Before that, I was convinced that I didn't need them. One try hooked me for life. The first thing I noticed was the consistency. While Astroglide claims to feel like the natural moister on a women's body, I noticed it to be a little thicker and much, much slicker. The amazing thing about this lube was its conduction of heat; it had none! The lube stayed cool upon my hot flesh for at least five minutes, at which time it simply came to temperature. What I love about this aspect, is the contrast between hot and cold. For example, when I'm just having a little clit play and don't need a lot of lube, I let myself go for about 10 minutes before applying Astroglide. Once the cool liquid hits my skin, it heightens my arousal and intensifies my sensations leading me into intense orgasm.

I've used Astroglide for both vaginal and anal play. I pour a great deal over my dildo, (to make it slick and cool feeling) and slide it in. Astroglide has long lasting properties, which causes me to hardly ever have to reapply. I've gone 30 minutes on a single application! Anal play is a little different. While Astroglide has always lubed me up just right, the after effects aren't desirable. I'm always left with an odd, warm sensation in my anus and often pain. I've found, through experimentation, that this isn't the toy I'm using but the lube. Therefor, I would not suggest it for anal use.

Astroglide is tasteless, colorless, and odorless. Even so, it stains dark fabric. I have a horrible habit of having fun under my sheets (which are dark in color). If Astroglide comes into contact with them, it leaves a mark (which can be washed off in a washing machine of course). I'm uncomfortable about this little aspect of the product, because at times, I feel as if it's very noticeable.

All in all, Astroglide is a wonderful lube with long lasting properties. I highly recommend it for light to slightly intense clit, penal, and vaginal play.
