When I first received my notification email about the first product I was going to review, it might be an understatement to say I was excited. Receiving the box only two days later, it was like being a kid on Christmas. I immediately went to open the shipping box and was excited to see the goodies within. I had only tried out one kind of anal lubricant before, and was open to something new. I really liked the thought behind it, once out of the box; the wrappers almost looked like candy wrappers, the material was almost the same as most hard after dinner mints, but the words on the front were enough to tell a person what was really inside. It took a little while for everything around the house to settle down enough for me to try one out and I could hardly wait. I followed the instructions that are printed nicely both on the box and on the wrapper; I unwrapped the applicator and twisted off the top. Until then I hadn't thought too much on the long neck from where the lubrication was held to the top, probably if you had more then one person it would be easier, but since I only do solo play right now, it was difficult to get out the amount I was comfortable with. If the neck was a little shorter I think it might be easier to use. The lubricant itself smells a lot like Elmer's glue to me, which was extremely odd but as the scent isn't incredibly strong, it didn't bother me. Astroglide shooter lubricant is very slick and a pretty good thickness, though it doesn't clean up as easily as I'd hoped it would either; several hours after play I kept finding more of the stuff leaking out, which was kind of uncomfortable. Maybe more rigorous play would cause it to dry faster, I'm not really sure, all I can really say is I don't think I'd use these if I had any of my other lubricant left. All in all, I give Astroglide Shooter two out of five stars. Leave a comment on this review
