Use

Maximus lube is great in that in can be used in almost any way you want. It works great with toys of all sizes and also comes in handy for solo masturbation or for hand-jobs. It could work for oral, but the bitter taste really is unappetizing.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

The texture of this lube is fantastic! My fellow ladies, if you want something that feels like your natural juices, this is the lube to get. The lube is nice and silky, so just apply and enjoy. You also won't have to worry about it running down your leg once you apply it because it stays in place. I little drop of this lube goes a long way, so you won't have to empty the whole bottle to get adequately friction free. I have the push-pump bottle, so no worries about spilling lube everywhere.

Taste / Aroma

This lube really doesn't have a smell, so you won't have to worry about any smells that may be mood killers. It does however have a taste... a very bitter taste. I tried it with oral and it is very hard to get past the taste. If you want to get a sense of how bitter it is, try tasting powdered cocoa.

Performance

Rejoice! I found this lube to last a really long time, so no stopping every 3-5 minutes to re-apply. The best thing about this lube is that it is long lasting, doesn’t dry out and become sticky, and that its’ texture/viscosity is similar to that of my own natural lube that my body makes. For solo use, if you add a drop of water to the lube it makes it a lot more like a slip and slide ordeal. Since this is a water based lube, it easily washes off with soap and water. Truth be told, I have zero negatives about this product and I love it!

Packaging

The bottle that this lube comes in is great! Just push down on the nozzle and that is all you need for your entire session!

Experience

I ordered this lube because I was disappointed with cheaper lubes that I had tried. Other lubes quickly became sticky and thus did not provide adequate lubrication. I like to use toys (the large type), and with Maximus lube it allows me to stretch myself to the fullest extent possible. The quality of this lube is excellent and I when my current bottle becomes empty I am definitely re-ordering Maximus.
Follow-up commentary
After trying out several lubricants, this is definitely the best. It continues to be my go-to lube. It feels natural, doesn't dry out, and provides a great smooth medium for any type of sexual activity. The lube comes in a convenient pump bottle that never gets messy or sticky which is a huge problem I've had with other lubes. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product and will order more as soon as my bottle runs out. This would be a great gift for a bachelorette party - far better than what is available at your local grocery/pharmacy.

    • I know most people absolutely love this lube, but when I try to use it, it feels like my genitals are on fire! Could it be due to the parabens? Any thoughts, or any recommendations for another thicker water-based lubricant?
    • I'm not sure if it's kosher to mention a competitor's product here, but BabeLube is a wonderful water-based lube that's comparable in thickness to Maximus.
    • Maximus is my go-to lube. I have very sensitive skin and have never had a problem with it.

    • Two negative things I've seen written are that it has a bitter aftertaste and it does peel off, dry, and need to be washed off.

      Positives and opposites I've heard are that it has a natural tasteless feel similar to saliva, and it is a thicker lubricant. Also the pump looks like a great feature that makes this product less messy.

      I would like to try it for myself, and wonder if it is really the go-to lube for me, and for others like me.
    • This is my favorite water-based lube, hands down and without a doubt. It's pretty thick (ideal for backdoor fun). I've fallen asleep with it on my hands and don't wake up with fuzzy or sticky palms (until they get wet, then it reactivates).

      Maximus is my go to lube, rarely use anything else. It is slightly bitter but not bothersome. It is thicker and also works very well for anal. I never feel the need to wash it off unless I overdue in the heat of passion.

    • It really isn't very big - I have mine it a bedside drawer. Maximus is so thick that you don't have to worry about it leaking unless you really press on the bottle. If my mind isn't playing tricks on me, the bottle is about 2-3/4" in diameter and 4-1/2 to 5 inches tall (including pump), and I think it's closer to 4.5

      I think mine's good to 2013 or something (I'm not at home now, but I can check later), so I wouldn't worry about it going bad
