Can you feel that?
Well, for me this product was awesome, and it's something I'll be keeping on my bedside table and at the ready for the times that I am having a Jack Frost fantasy! ;) But for him he didn't notice much cooling no matter what way we used this cream. It's possible he's just not sensitive to this kind of thing, and I can say that for me it was an absolute winner and I would definitely recommend this product over other types of cooling lubricants.Published: September 3, 2010
Pros:
intense cooling for me (woman), no bad taste, natural ingredients
Cons:
did not do much for him, has to be showered off
Well for being Men's Pleasure Cream I have to say it did not live up to its name. If you add a Wo- to that then I can absolutely say that it succeeded. It was awesomely cooling and hot at the same time and it definitely enhanced MY pleasure, it just didn't do anything for him. It's possible that maybe my husband just isn't sensitive to these kinds of things. The Pleasure Cream is a cream that is meant to give a nice cooling sensation to heighten pleasure during sex or solo play. There are two different flavors/scents. The one we got was "Excite Mint" which is yep you guessed it, the mint one! I love mint so I knew this was definitely the one for us.
The mint is a nice natural mint, it wasn't like medicinal mint. I think if I had to compare it to something I would say peppermint gum or peppermint toothpaste. The taste is minimal, but it does leave a cooling sensation on your tongue. It's not gross or anything though, and it doesn't prevent you from going between oral and other things. The cream is thick and creamy like a face cream, if not a bit thicker than that. Its ingredients explain the texture.
Distilled water, organic non-gmo canola oil, beeswax, shea butter, vitamin E, grapefruit seed extract & pure organic essential oil of peppermint.
As you can see the ingredients are natural and easy to understand. You can look at the list and know exactly what each one is. It's synthetic and paraben free and it's tested on people, not animals. It's not latex friendly, but it is skin friendly. The shea butter and canola oil create a very moisturizing feel to this cream. What I liked about this cream was that after you use it and its rubbed into my husband's skin it leaves it still feeling extremely moisturized, which then allows my hand to glide over his cock easier, even once the cream itself is absorbed.
So, how does the "excite mint" work? Was it exciting? Well, yes and no. For me it was intensely cooling and it would start off cold, then feel tingly and almost hot and then back to being cool again and it almost made it feel like I was getting screwed by Frosty the Snow Man! (Ok not exactly the most sexy visual..how about Jack Frost..slightly better? Hmm..) I said "can you feel that, is it cooling for you?" and he said no. I shared with him how awesome it was for me and he said "well that's pretty hot but nope for me it just feels normal" to which I replied "huh, well for me if feels like your cock is a popsicle". Ahh the conversations we have during sex.... His first comment was "maybe it's men's pleasure cream because the man gets turned on by how much the woman likes it!". I figured that maybe it would work better for a hand job, so the next day we tried that.
This time he could feel some slight cooling but it wasn't anything major and it didn't really add any added stimulation for him. If I mixed the hand job with oral and would blow on it he said he would start to feel something but then it would fade. So, I guess it wasn't completely worthless as a men's pleasure cream as it did give him a slightly different sensation, and he does get immense pleasure from watching my reaction to this cream during sex!
After using this cream it will leave both men and women feeling soft and moisturized. Thing is unfortunately I cannot leave it on afterwards and need to shower it off. The first time we used it I did not do this and the cooling/heating sensation was quite present for the first 20 minutes or so and then went away. I had figured it wore off and that all was well. Well, about an hour later I started to feel a little irritated and it felt almost like the beginning of a mild UTI. I thought that maybe it was the cream so I took a shower and washed it off and the burning feeling immediately went away. So, if your skin is sensitive like mine you will probably need to shower after using this, or at least wash the area. The next time I used this I was a bit worried thinking that maybe the shower resolving it was not going to always prevent the burning, but the burning has not been back since..as long as I shower afterwards.

Oil-based lubes... Do not enter?
-
I've recently seen some pretty cool looking all-natural lubes on here
this men's pleasure creme by Sensuous Beauty , for instance. i've read warnings about oil and the vagina not mixing, something about oil harboring bacteria and potentially causing such unpleasantries as yeast infections, bacterial vaginosis and UTI's.
can someone elaborate on this?
anyone had experience with oil based lubes actually contributing to infections?
all input is surely appreciated.
thanks!

We use 'oil-based' lubes 98% of the time - the other 98% are silicone. For us Oil-based products are made with some combination of Cocoa butter, Shea butter, Almond oil & Vitamin E oil. No petroleum products. If you're interested check them out at Yes products link.
When were done having sex - our skin feels like we have just moisturized all over. We've never had yeast or UTI problems.
Everyone else here at EF will tell you to use water-based. Nothing wrong with that - just that my wife hates it - and you know the drill. What the wife wants, the wife gets.;) -

however, they look pretty cool. they're based in england, however, and i opt for the more local 'firefly' lube by applied organics, which i'm trying to get EF to stock.. found at
organiclubricants.com
i unfortunately have issues with yeast and UTI complications so i have to be very careful about what goes up there... no parabens, no glycerin... etc. never tried oils though and just wanted to see what the fuss was about.
thanks for your input!

Thank you for viewing Men's pleasure cream – jack off lube review page!

I thought it was to reduce sensation to prolong the session, lol! Aren't these creams for external use only? Great review.
Nothing on it says it's for external use only. The instructions are actually: Rub onto body where lubrication is needed and pleasure is desired. Not latex friendly.
And it's designed to give the man pleasure, not to prolong the session. It's supposed to add excitement with the enlivening peppermint. That too is from the jar.
I also should have added to my last comment that nothing in this lubricant would make it external use only. The ingredients that are in this lubricant are natural ingredients that are safe for vaginal use. The only concern would come from if your body is too sensitive for the peppermint, which would vary from individual to individual and wouldn't cause an issue for the majority of people.
thanks for the review
Thanks!
Hmm, sounds like it's worth a shot, even though the name was slightly deceiving.. (in your case, at least!) Thanks for the review!
I have a feeling it's just my husband LOL I read other reviews where the men seemed to enjoy it a lot, so I think that he's just not sensitive to the peppermint.
Could be he is just not sensitive to the oil in peppermint! Still it could burn sensitive vaginal tissues...but I doubt it would be in that high a concentration in a product meant to be used on a penis before penetration! That would be OUCH.
Sounds fun, wishlisted
Yea, I'm assuming that it's probably as concentrated as the other cooling lubricants that have peppermint oil in them.
Good review!
love this review! Buying it ASAP.
Thanks for the nice review! Sorry it did not do more for your hubby though since you bought it as a treat for him.
Thank you!
