Love liquid cinnamon - water based lube by Kama Sutra - review by mpfm

Cinnamon Love Liquid is a water-based vaginal lubricant by the Kama Sutra Company. It is one of two flavored lubes. I reviewed the Peppermint Love Liquid here. link The back of the container states that the lube is designed to enhance a woman's natural response and add an exciting warming element to intimate encounters. It goes on to add that Love liquid Warming Cinnamon Lubricant is a lovemaking essential that adds an arousing kissable touch to the skin. It is designed to create a tingly, warm exciting feeling during intercourse and add a cinnamon flavor during oral sex. I found it to be good for oral, but I was not thrilled about it during intercourse. More on that in a minute. Since it is water-based it could be used on toys.

The ingredients are: Water, Glycerin, Propylene Glycol, Hydroxy Ethylcellulose, Tetrasodium EDA, Citric Acid, Sodium Benzoate, and Flavor.

It claims to be dermatologist tested and hypoallergenic. However, it does contain glycerin. If you are sensitive to glycerin- avoid this product. I did not have any adverse reactions other than the very short initial intense tingle.

The lube is clear, thin, and runny with a hint of sticky. It absorbs easily into the skin and has a natural texture. The bottle has a flip cap that can be poured out. The only downside is that it does come out very fast. Be careful pouring it out. I found if I flipped the bottle until it was parallel to my hand, and gently squeezed the bottle, I could control the amount very well. It could potentially create a mess if spilled or lost in the bed covers.

This tastes and smells like spicy cinnamon. I like cinnamon, and I was pleased with this. Right out of the container, it tastes pretty strong but not overwhelming. During oral sex it has a pleasing cinnamon flavor without a chemical taste. It has a pleasing light cinnamon aroma.

I was excited to try this product since I loved their peppermint flavor. However, I was let down. I experienced an intense tingling that was almost, but not quite a burn when applying the lube to myself. It did dissipate quickly into a warm tingle, but I didn't enjoy it too much. It was too tingly for me and detracted rather than enhanced the experience for me. Those who like a warm tingle feeling may like this. It just wasn't good for me. We also tried it by applying it to my husband only. That was better. I didn't get the initial intense sensation, but the warm tingle still distracted me. As a lube, it did last during our 20-30 minute sessions. There was never a need to reapply. My husband did like the feeling of this during intercourse. For him it felt warm without any tingles.

On the positive side, I loved this for giving oral sex to my husband. It did have a natural cinnamon flavor that lasted throughout the session. It did not leave a chemical taste in my mouth. I will definitely use this again for oral although we probably won't be using it for intercourse. I also have no interest in using it for oral on me or on toys for obvious reasons.

This arrived in a brown box with a cut out front to reveal the product. Inside, the bottle was shrink wrapped in plastic. The bottle is brown with some contrasting black on the flip cap and label. It's aesthetically pleasing and isn't automatically clear what it is. I think it is discreet enough to leave sitting out. The bottles size and shape reminds me of a very small sized stick deodorant. As stated above the flip cap can be tricky. It would be very easy to create a big mess. Be very careful dispensing this lube.

I expected to love this product as much as the Peppermint. I absolutely love the cool mintiness of the Peppermint. Alas, the warm cinnamon was just meh for me. The warm tingly feeling was a distraction and not a very pleasant one. Someone who likes the warm feeling may like this. I did enjoy the taste of it during oral sex and will continue to use it for that. I debated about giving it 2 or 3 stars. If I could it would get 2.5; I decided to generously round it up to 3. It was very enjoyable for oral and I will use it for that.
