This lube is a water-based lubricant intended for a wide variety of activities. It was originally made for medical use, as a surgical lubricant, but has gained popularity as a sexual lubricant because it is inexpensive, widely available at drugstores and supermarkets, and does not react with condoms or silicone items because it is water-based. Ladies, this is likely what your gynecologist has in that gigantic, bulk-sized tube that they slather on the speculum before doing your exam. And it works fine for that, since they insert it, leave it, and don't really move it around. For sex however, I find that this lube falls quite short. When used for too long, instead of simply drying up like most lubes, it "balls up" into disgusting little...wads. So even if you apply more, you still have nasty little clumps of dried up lube. Any activity that involves a lot of movement or thrusting or friction (essentially any sexual activity) should be avoided with this lube.

It is thicker than most water-based lubes, stays in place where you put it, then can spread it around easily. It's easy to apply and feels smooth but soon becomes sticky and tacky. I've heard you can spit on it to "re-wet" it, but in my experience, it still stays sticky. And why would you want a lube that you have to work at to keep wet?

This lube is listed as odorless and flavorless and as far as lubricants go, this is pretty true. I guess it has to be like that because of it's use in the medical field. While not entirely tasteless, it is far less flavorful than most other lubes I've tried, which impart a sweet taste.

This product really fails as a sexual lubricant. Once movement or friction begin to occur, this lube gives up. It becomes sticky and eventually balls up into nasty, glue-like balls. When I say eventually, I mean after a few minutes. Seriously, a few thrusts in, the lube will start to noticeably dry up. A few more and it will be really dry. And if you don't stop after it starts to dry up, you will have clumps of lube stuck all over your genitals. I would say all this happens with 4-5 minutes. I read other reviews where people said it lasted slightly longer when masturbating.

Luckily, being water-based, it washes off easily in the shower, and you will want to go straight to the shower after using it.

When I purchased this, it was in a slightly different container and the lid leaked everywhere. Awesome. The container is sold inside a small cardboard box which contains all the same information that is included on the tube.
