Female pleasure balm - edible body butter discontinued by Icon Brands - review by XxXxX

With about 3 times the thickness, The Female Pleasure Balm from Icon Brands mimics the look of chap stick. It’s just over 3 inches tall with a 3 inch circumference. There are two flavors available, mint and cherry. I was able to try the mint.

The mint was actually quite nice. I wasn't sure about what areas I really wanted to try this on because it’s a stick. You wouldn't want to put it anywhere that is going to leave it germ infested for the next use. Just like you wouldn't want to go around sharing your chap stick. The clear balm isn't oily like basic lubes, or sticky like flavored lubes usually are. It's more of a chap stick texture and it absorbs into your skin just the same.

Theingredients really didn't excite me all that much. But if that is something you really don't care to think about than you should be fine.

In my trials I decided cut off a slice of it and cubed it up. I applied it to different areas of my body to test the feel and and/or reactions.

• Lips ~ I actually loved it for this use. It was quite refreshing. Almost like you would get from a 'plumping' lip gloss. It had a cool and refreshing feeling that lasted for about a half hour. I also noticed that there was slight tingling. But not uncomfortable in any way. No extra sensitivity or anything like that. I enjoyed the mint flavor; it didn't seem like a cheap knock-off flavor either. If it came in a normal size I might actually use it regularly.

• Stomache ~ I was thinking, 'how hot would it be if someone dragged this stuff all the way from my lips down to my... where ever! So I figured I would actually try it everywhere. On my stomach around my belly button, I did feel the cooling effect but there was no tingling or extra sensitivity. Just a cool feeling.

• Nipples and breasts ~ I put some on my nipples and then extended it around my breast in other areas. I did feel cooling on my nipples but it wasn't as intense as on my lips. On the breast areas it was just like on my stomach. A little cooling, but nothing tingly or sensitive. It wasn't really exciting in either area. It really just made me a little chilly. Pinching and playing with my breasts felt just as it did before I covered them with the balm.

• Clit. Using it on my clit was kind of like using a basic cooling lube. I felt it for probably 30 to 30 minutes. But it really just was kind of annoying. Until I figured 'what the hell' and went for a quick round with my vibe. I must say, hitting a clitoral orgasm with the pleasure balm was quite enjoyable. I still didn't feel any tingling, but the cooling effect really does concentrate your attention on the exact spot! I enjoyed it and if it wasn't totally disgusting to apply it right to the source, I would apply it every time. I attempted later to use a tissue and then a q-tip. The tissue was a bust but the q-tip was ok.

• Anus ~ Being such a fully involved reviewer, I wanted to be able to answer all questions about this. I didn't like it. No tingling, no extra sensitivity. Just a feeling like there was a very cool breeze and a hole in my jeans. It didn't heighten any experiences or feelings. I was just sitting there with a cooling asshole for about 15 minutes even after I wiped it off.

If this came in a onetime use packet or a jar that you could stick your finger in. I would definitely think it was worth it. But being a stick, it just doesn't seem practical. You will never want to put it somewhere that you wouldn't put it twice, and using a q-tip to apply it is just a tedious job that I don't want to take the time out to do when I am about to get railed.

The packaging states right on it that it is a 'Female Pleasure Balm'. You can take the label off as it is simply a sticker. Otherwise, you may not want to leave it lying around.

I loved this stuff on my lips. This is probably the first time ever that I wish something came in a smaller package. It's awfully larger to whip out and lather on my lips in a crowd. I prefer to shop at bulk stores, but damn, there are just some things that should be pocket sized. If I had this in my pocket, people would think I was really happy to see them.

The ingredients might be enough to turn me off. And if that didn't, I probably still wouldn't use it for anything but chap stick and the occasional clitoral orgasm.

I honestly find this item pretty pointless. I have only used it one other time after my original review and after that I just threw it away. I suppose some people might enjoy it. But if you dont use a Q-Tip or break a slice off, it is just a bacteria collector and that just turns me off completely. If it came in a wipe or a tube. I might like it more.
