Durex play warming by Durex

I had high hopes for Durex Play Warming Lubricant and was greatly disappointed. Unlike many other warming lubes, this product did not warm to the point of practically burning. The warming effect was so mild it was barely noticeable. In addition to warming on contact, many other products also warm when exposed to breath or friction. This product not only does not provide much warming upon initial application, but it also does not warm further like many other products.

Durex Play Warming did provide enough lubricating effect for short sessions of intercourse, but became very sticky during longer sessions. It also felt very gooey and unnatural when using with toys. Reapplication was needed frequently is all uses. Although it comes in an easy to use container, this product has a tendency to be very thin and runny coming out of the bottle. This seems to make it more difficult and messier to use.

Durex Play Warming would not be one of my top choices as either a standard or warming lubricant. I believe there are many other warming products that provide a much more satisfying warming sensation than Durex Play Warming with out all mess and stickiness of this product. The warming sensation may be satisfying for someone who is very sensitive or does not have prior experience with warming or enhancing lubricants. As far as a standard lubricant, Durex Play Warming is just not up to par of all the great products available today. Why tolerate something that is sticky, messy and needs frequent reapplication when there are so many other options available.

Durex Play Warming is not a product I would purchase again or recommend to a friend. In fact, I would only use this product if it was the only lubricant available and I was in desperate need.
