Cooling masturbator lube - lubricant discontinued by Evolved Novelties - review by TitsMcgee

I was very excited to try out this lubricant, expecting it to tingle and cool all while keeping me wet. I think that I set too high of expectations for the product. While this water-based lubricant kept me wet for at least an hour until I finished, it really didn't do much tingling or cooling. I tried pouring it directly onto my labia, as well as putting it onto my toy first. I didn't notice any difference between the two experiences. At first, it felt like maybe it was feeling a little "minty" down below, but it may have just been all in my head because within literally minutes any tingly or cooling sensation was gone. It did wash off easily with soap and water, though.

So, I think that this product is a great lubricant; it didn't go dry after lots of friction, and it didn't stain my sheets. However, it didn't give off the sensations like it advertises it will -- at least not for me and my vagina. I have not tried it out on my partners yet, so I can't speak on how it works with condoms.

Being that it is a water-based lubricant, it is safe to use with latex. It is also glycerin and L-arginine free. Also, since it's water-based, it is safe to be used with all materials of toys. The viscosity isn't as thick as some of the other lubes I've used. For those familiar with the ID Lubricants, I would say that the viscosity is comparable to those. It is not extremely runny, but it isn't thick enough to be used for anal use. The Cooling Masturbator Lube is clear, and it has has no smell -- which was nice. I kind of hate when they try to scent things that I'm going to be putting in, on, or around my vagina, so it's nice that they didn't do that. This lubricant also didn't become sticky once it mixed with my own natural wetness, which was also a nice feature. Just remember that all body chemistry are different.

I wouldn't purchase this lubricant again, just because I prefer the ID lubes over this one. Since it didn't blow my mind with the tingling and cooling sensation it promised, I wasn't impressed. I will, however, continue to use the lubricant until it is gone, just for the pure fact that it works well as an actual lubricant. The nozzle tip applicator is helpful because it helps get the lube right where you want or need it. The packaging is not discreet; I mean, since it's called masturbator lube, it's pretty obvious what it's used for.
