Eros "Booty"glide, Actually.....

Pjur Eros is my booty buddy. DJ knows not to approach our marital bed asking for buttsex without it. I recommend it to any novice interested in anal play!
Published: September 18, 2008
Pros:
Super slick, never dries, a dab will do ya!
Cons:
The only complaint I have is that is may take a while to wash off/

useful review
I was a little hesitant about reviewing this product since it has been done so many times in the past. However, I would be doing the makers of this fantastic lube a disservice if I didn't lend my rave review to this fantastic product.

BEGIN DISCLAIMER I have only ever used this as an anal lubricant. With that said, be aware that this is a silicone based lube, so be toy conscious. END DISCLAIMER

In the infinite search for the most pleasurable anal sex experience, I have come across many suggestions for what to use as a lubricant. As you know, the "tailhole" does not possess the capability of lubricating itself, so the "grease" you pick has to be pretty long lasting and very slick.

Here are some of the suggestions I was given by folks: Crisco, butter (thanks a lot, Brando), spit (seriously), vegetable oil (tossed salad jokes?), Vaseline and countless other brand named lubes I will not mention. Pjur was a suggestion I was given by a friend. He told me "this stuff is so slick, if you use more than a drop, it's too much."

So, I bought the small bottle and set about my test run.

Now anal sex is all about preparation. I don't know how, but I am not capable of the feats you see in some porn flicks. (There will be no sticking it in my butt without a little love and tenderness first) One finger, one drop of Eros Original, a little warm up, and I was prepped for action. This motion potion was very slick and very long lasting. I have yet to have a problem with it drying up. Once I got the "relax" part squared away, Pjur Eros has helped make anal sex virtually pain free for me.

I have had the same bottle for over six months now. The 3.4 ounce bottle. And it was worth every penny.

I don't think "virtually pain free" would be quite good enough for me. I am drawn to silicone lube for anal play because it sounds so fantastic, but it just doesn't seem to work as well as Maximus does for me. I have a bottle of the Eros Basic, but haven't tried it for anal yet. I've tried both System Jo Personal Anal lube (it was crap in my opinion) and Pink, but neither yielded the level of comfort I was expecting. Maybe I should go back and give the Eros a try though, I guess it couldn't hurt, at least not too much ;) Thanks for the review, was nicely written :)

Bulma~I agree, System JO was not a good lube for anal. I have yet to try Maximus, but I think if you have something that works for you, why switch? Thanks for the comment :)

Yay for good lube.
I agree, if it works for you, stick with it. Everyone has their own lube preferences, anyway. Pjur is a classic choice for a reason... As is Maximus.

Those are some frightening recommendations for lube. Luckily you had one GOOD recommendation.

Epiphora-The Crisco one killed me, still I hear it is VERY popular....

  • As a male, what are your favorite penis rings?
    • I am looking to surprise my guy with a penis ring, and have sifted through many products and countless reviews, and I have not really been able to narrow anything down, because of all the great reviews. So as a girlfriend, buying her boyfriend his first penis ring, what would some of the male users, (or female if you are very into your man's penis ring) suggest?
    • I like this one link and use it often, the silicone is a bit more forgiving if you didn't get the size quite right.
Don't go with a flimsy one, more stretch is NOT necessarily better.
Thinner o-ring style like this link may not be as comfortable for your BF to wear for a long sex session.
I also use a wide metal cock ring link and like it very much but you really have to get the size right or he won't be able to get it on or worse he may have to go to the ER to get it off.
    • RonLee has given good suggestions - but there are some metal ones that are nice but not so expensive.

      Happy hunting!

My caution is go silicone first - metal is cock-ring 202 - you need to complete the 101 class first! The 2" metal is most common - but make sure you measure him first!
