Use/ Performance
I had read several reviews on this lube and had to try it for myself. And I have to say, I am a convert. I really like this lube. It's thick enough to stay where you put it but not so thick that you end up feeling goopy.
It works well for vaginal and anal play. When you use it you don't end up feeling sticky, like you have to wipe your hands, like you do with a lot of other lubes. I really like that you can squirt some out of the bottle, put it where you want it and then get back to business without feeling like you don't want to touch your sheets or your partner. LOL
If you are sensitive to parabens you should probably steer clear of this one, since there are 4 listed on the ingredient list. And I haven't used it on any of my silicon toys yet to know if there's a reaction.

Texture
The texture is really natural, it's thick and stays in place. It's nice and silky so it glides on really smoothly and stays put.
It's a waterbased product so cleanup is a piece of cake. We've had more than our share spilled/rubbed on the bed and it didn't stain the sheets or leave a gross residue.
The only downside is that it dries relatively quickly so for handjobs and anal sex, you may need to reapply depending on time frames.
Taste/Aroma
It is a little on the bitter side but not unbearably so. It certainly didn't turn me off. It has virtually no aroma which is a good thing.
Pakaging
I really like how this lube comes in a bottle with a pump. It makes it incredibly easy to use, no caps to flip up or unscrew.

Well it has been a couple of months and I'm still completely loving this lube. I love that after I use it I can just wipe my hands on a tissue and I'm good to go. With lots of lubes you end up all sticky and this one you don't. It's great.

Liquid Silk's not a bad lube, but "crap" or "awesome" depends a lot on what you want out of your lube. Like, do you want one for anal play or vaginal? For shower play? Are you a stickler for healthy ingredients?

Liquid Silk and Silicone Toys

So, while looking through highly rated water based lubes, I came across Liquid Silk. Aside from the bitter taste, no one seems to have any complaints.
However, I noticed that the fourth ingredient is Dimethicone - and I was wondering what everyone's experience with this and silicone sex toys was? Is the silicone in Liquid Silk a small enough portion that it has no effect on toys, or is it generally not recommended for that type of play?
Or does the bonding potential of silicone lubes have more to do with the type/quality of silicone than anything else? -
That's a really good question because Dimethicone is a silicone.
Basically it should be ok to use as long as the toy is made of medical grade silicone. There should, in theory, be no reaction. I, personally, wouldn't want to test that out on my own toys though. You can do a patch test on a small part of the toy. The reaction should be immediate if there is going to be one.

I have had liquid silk react to a silicone toy. Which sucks because I love it. :(
