Toyfluid - lubricant by Fun Factory - review by ~LaUr3n~

A lot of FunFactory's toys are made of silicone which as many of us know, cannot be used with silicone lubricant. Water based lubricants tend to not feel as silky and smooth and don't usually last as long as silicone based ones. FunFactory has developed a great lubricant called Toyfluid that acts like a silicone lubricant, but is water based and safe for use with their toys. It is enhanced when mixed with bodily juices but and can be used not only with toys. It works for vaginal sex and although not the best for it, it works for anal sex as well. In terms of safety Toyfluid is L-Arginine, petro-chemicals, and paraben free.

Ingredients:

Aqua, Glycerin, Ethoxydiglycol, Guar Hydroxypropultrimonium Chloride, Hydroxypropylcellulose, Citric Acid, Benzyl Alcohol / Methylisothiazolinone/ Methylchloroisothiazolinone

Note: this does contain glycerin which can cause a higher chance of infection in some women.

Toyfluid felt like a silicone lubricant. It was very slick and smooth. It was a bit runny and thin coming out of the container, but this didn't affect the feeling. It did not feel greasy, sticky, or oily. It also absorbed into the skin, but not at a fast rate that made reapplication necessary. The texture felt the same when used during sex and mixed with bodily juices. It felt very natural in these circumstances.

There is absolutely no smell that I could detect. It has no taste either, but it did make my tongue tingle a tiny bit. Make sure to wash this off if you want to perform oral after toy play or sex.

This is among the best water based lubricants that I have every tried. On toys, it was nice and slick. It aided insertion and didn't thicken up or get sticky when thrusting toys. It worked well for anal toys as well. It was easy to wash off toys. I just used soap and water. During sex it felt very natural when it mixed with my own fluids. It didn't leave my partner or I feeling gross. The lubricant also didn't cause any irritation or skin reaction for either of us.

We did try it anally and it did work, but isn't what we would use it for since we already have favorite anal lubes. After sex, I didn't feel like I had to wash this off right away; but, when I did, I used a damp wash cloth. It seemed to work just as well with condoms. We usually use silicone lubricated condoms, so we didn't have much use for this with those. It even holds up fairly well in the shower. As with all water based lubricants, water breaks them down. With this one, it lasted longer than the average water based lube and was the only situation where I felt I needed to reapply.

I really like the packaging because it is more unique than most. I'm a sucker for aesthetics and I like the look of this brush metal bottle. It is a decent size especially for the money and is 3.4 fluid ounces. If you used this every week I would estimate it would last you the entire year. You don't need to use a lot of this for each session. The pump top is easy to use and I didn't notice it leaking at all. It also is fairly discrete and could sit amongst other toiletry items in a cabinet or bathroom.
