My girlfriend, Kelly, and I have been looking for a new lube. We have been using water-based KY lubes for a few months, and I find the taste is a complete turn-off (bitter, odd tasting). So we set out to find "the perfect lube". It started out with us standing in Wal-Mart literally opening bottles and feeling and tasting. It turned into a search that seemed like it would last forever, and culminated in "Forever Lube".

Finally, we discovered liquid sex forever. It is a silicone based lube. Using it feels completely different than water-based, it feels constantly fresh, and it really does last forever. Here is the draw, however: it is oily. My girlfriend and I use it on our dildo, and often like to partake in oral afterward.

True, I do not have to taste the foul minty KY lube or wash before oral play anymore, but now I have to find some place to wipe my oily face (or, again, wash before play)! I have experienced a few break outs (pimples and unsightly blemishes) around my mouth as a result. I am not sure whether the draw is greater than the pluses yet. When I decide, I will come back and write a follow up review.

Some other little tidbits: since the lube is silicone based, it is also waterproof. Use it in the shower, bath, pool, or wherever your heart takes you. I find it can be a little pricier than your usual water based lubes, but in a lot of ways is worth the little price jump.

In addition, the lube is safe to use with toys. A little bit more of a hassle to clean (seeing as it is oily), but just a few extra scrubs with soap and water or toy cleaner should do the trick nicely.
