This product is not just for couples as the commercials describe. Even without my partner present, I found myself using both bottles of lube. I put one on me and one on the toy, and the sensations went to work. It is good for spontaneous sex as well as more uh, scheduled fun. I wouldn't recommend using this lube in watery or wet situations because it is water based and will just go away in water.

The lube is the perfect consistency in my opinion. It is not super watery and it is not a pure gel. You can put it where you need to put it with ease. It slides from where you put it a bit, but this is not a problem. The bottles make it hard to pour though, but that will be covered in the packaging section. As this is a water based lube, it does get sticky after a bit. It lasts a fairly decent amount of time depending on the activity. I don't have to reapply when masturbating, but in couple play longer than 30 minutes, I usually find myself reapplying.

The warming lube doesn't really have a noticeable scent, but the cooling side smells minty. I assume it's because of the menthol. The smell helps tell the two apart in the dark, even though neither smell is very strong. As far as taste goes, it is not pleasant. It is bitter. This lube is not good for oral. It doesn't contain sugar type ingredients so it is good for vaginal play (no yeast infections, hurrah!)

I had this lube for about a year before it ran out. You don't need a lot of it to work. And it worked. Like I said earlier, the lube lasts. Many water based lubes get sticky rather quickly, but I got by with one application during masturbation and usually one during couple play, unless my body did not kick in and get wet on its own. For anal play, I found myself reapplying more often just to be safe, since that area of the body can't get wet on its own. Clean up is a breeze with this lube, it just washes off with water. It doesn't stain fabric (otherwise my bed would be a lube stained mess, eww!).

The lube is packaged in two test tube shaped vials with pop top lids. This is not an ideal packaging and is this lube's downfall. The vials do not have a flat bottom so you can not set them up on a night stand. The pop tops are hard to get open, especially with lubed up fingers. The bottles are hard to squeeze. The color difference is hard to see in the dark so you aren't quite sure which lube you're squeezing out. The vials do have glow in the dark lettering, but the "for her" and "for him" bits are very hard to read. The design is very visually pleasing but not practical.

One side is warming and the other side is cooling. You don't have to abide by the for her or for him recommendation. When the sensations mix, you get a bit of both worlds.
