This was everyone's first lube. All the cool kids in high school used it because K-Y was for squares man! This is the perfect jumping off point to get into lubes; it can be used for just about anything any other lube can with maybe somewhat varying results. This stuff is slick and can be used for anal or vaginal sex. Its water-based so you can use it on toys too.

Its pretty thin and a little runny to be honest but it feels great. It’s watery and spreads around, though it’s not greasy at all and feels pretty fresh. Moisturizes the skin and it lasts a pretty long time. It is pretty messy though so you have to be careful.

Astroglide tastes slightly sweet and has a unique lube smell. Which is good because it’s pretty messy and will get everywhere. The taste is actually pretty good and can make orifices taste better.

Astroglide works very well for its price point but I don't think it should be seen as a final destination for lubes. It’s a great intro and something you can fall back on but I would encourage people to try out the more specialty lubes on the market. It lasts a fair amount of time but it runs and will require some reapplying.
It also dries up into a sticky tacky mess, which is not very pleasant — you'll want to take a shower.
