Good, General Purpose Lube
Astroglide is a good general purpose lube for when you need to get it done. It's not the best out there but it's by far one of the most dependable.Published: March 22, 2010

Astroglide is our go to lube when we need quick lubrication for a variety of play. It's good for anything from handjobs to vaginal and anal sex. The fact that it's water-based makes it pretty easy to clean up as well and you don't have that sticky feeling petroleum based products leave you with.
We've used this lube for everything from toys for anal play to full out sex and it really enhances the experience. Astroglide worked rather well. I was first introduced to AG by a girlfriend and since then, I've made sure to have some in my nightstand and travel kit (you never know when you're going to need lube).
A little on your fingers or the palm of your hand makes masturbation that much more fun if you're playing alone and if you have a partner, it makes handjobs even more exciting. It works for anal play, though you may have to reapply while playing, make sure to get a generous amount of lube applied at first for maximum effectiveness.
The bottle makes it easy to add more lube during intercourse or other activity and it lasts for a while.
As it's a water-based lube, you can't use it very successfully in the tub, shower or other aquatic setting, but for dry land it works wonders. It does make for easy clean up though, with a little water you're all clean after a session of playing. That's one of the nicest things about Astroglide and one of the things that makes it a favorite of mine to use for solo play.
Some people have complained about the price of Astroglide, but the price really is not too bad for the amount you get, in addition to the fact that it keeps forever. You might be able to find it locally at Wal-mart, Kroger or any number of other local stores.
I've even heard it suggested to put a little on the head of your golf club to help with slicing...

Finally I was introduced to astroglide and haven't used anything else since :D

Astroglide is ok, but I find it doesn't work that well for anal sex. I use Maximus for that, as I am naturally a wet person, and don't really need lube for anything else.

Most likely because reviewers starting out have to review cheaper items first. I'd guess that lubes and massage balms/oils would be many reviewers' first picks since they'd want to buy the stuff anyway. :P

I think you did a good job explaining what is good about the product, but I'd love to see if you explained *why* it is good about the product. For example, you stated that it's easy to add more lube during intercourse. Why? Is the lid easy to open or is the bottle just hands-friendly? Also, what about stains? Does it clean up okay or does it leave stains? Is it okay to leave on after use, or does it get all sticky? (Sticky lube sucks.
)

Also, in your cons, you mention it's runny. I'd love to see more of an explaination about how runny it is or why that caused a problem. Does it just drip right off (cause that'd be a pain)?
I agree though. Astroglide always seems to get some good reviews.
I mention that you can buy this product at Wal Mart but leave out Eden who is selling it. I would edit that portion of your review.
