Great Silicone Lube
I would recommend this to anybody looking for a great multipurpose silicone lube. The amount you get for the price and the amount you need to use per use make it a great value. Plus it works and makes sex more enjoyable for us. It is slick and doesn't ruin the fun with enjoyment killing re-applications. Only problem is that it does leak if it falls over on its side. I keep it in a sealed plastic bag so it doesn't get all over the place.Published: March 22, 2011
Pros:
Slick, works for a while without reapplication
Cons:
Bottle leaks if laid on its side, don't lay it on its side
Better Sex Essentials silicone lube works well as both an vaginal and anal lube. It's got a syrupy type of consistency and thickness to it. So, once it's put in place, it doesn't run off toys or the areas of body where it is applied. Neither my wife nor I noticed any smells coming from it and there was no real discernible taste, not that I would eat this on my cereal or pancakes.
We did use this with toys and with me, and it worked very well with both. I did use this with a silicone toy, a glass toy, and an aluminum toy. I know silicone and silicone can cause problems, so I tested it on the bottom of the toy before we tried it out to see if it would ruin the toy and got a big negative on that. It was a Jollet; the silicone in that seems pretty indestructible. It didn't need reapplication, and a little did go a long way. I really liked that it didn't dampen the her warmth as most water-based lubes seem to do for me. It works fairly well in the shower as well. As for slickness, it was outstanding. It didn't make it like banana peels; there was still plenty of feeling on both of our parts, literally.
Clean up was easy for a silicone lube. It didn't require jumping in the shower and my skin seemed to absorb it before I got a chance to wash it off of me. My wife didn't have anything bad to say about the clean up process, either.

Why can't you use Silicone with Silicone?
-
I have never tried it, never plan too either. I know better.
I'm just wondering why you can't use silicone toys with silicone lubes. All I know it causes a chemical reaction that equals damaging your sex toy.
Just curious. -
I have yet to see it "damage" a toy so it cannot be used. It can adhear to the silicone material, which makes it sort of gummy feeling. Most of the time it goes back to normal after a few washing's. The big problem, at least to me, is that I would not like that feeling during use.
