Best used for anything but silicone toys, this lube is good for masturbating and anal use with metal, glass and wood toys. Care should be taken to keep this lube away from any silicone toy, as with any other silicone lube, as it may damage the toy. This lube is great for shower and water play as it is less likely to be washed away like other water-based lubes.

This lube creates a nice slippery feel, but some users may not like the thinner, runny consistency of the lube compared to other thicker variants.

Recently Gun oil must have redesigned their packaging as it no longer has the flip top cap on the 4oz bottle at least, but instead a pump type system with an outer plastic cap and a pump that locks with a slight rotation of the dispenser cap, preventing unwanted dispensing of lube. The great part of this lube, compared to the others that I have tried, is that it is long lasting even when exposed to water and a little 4oz bottle will last users a long time compared to other water-based lubes.

Since this is a silicone lube, I would not recommend getting this in your mouth. However, this lube doesn’t seem to have any taste or smell at all.

Unlike a lot of other lubes, just a little bit of Gun oil goes a long way without the need for constant reapplication over time since it doesn’t absorb into the skin, and if you happen to be playing in the shower, it doesn’t just wash away. Since this lube is not water-based, it is great for other wet play as well as water alone will not wash Gun oil away. When the fun is over, just a little soap and water will help to wash away the remaining lube. The only unfortunate thing about this lube, as with all other silicone lubes, is that you cannot use it with your silicone toys without worrying about damaging them.

Gun oil must have redesigned their containers as instead of a flip top cap to dispense the lube, a new pump system allows the user to add as much as they need without spilling if the container tips over - a great improvement over the old design.
