System JO H2O anal lubricant - anal lube by System JO - review by Airen Wolf

As a novice anal enthusiast I was looking for something that would stop the friction that has plagued my play for many years. I knew I wanted something that wouldn't irritate my anal mucosa, would wash away easily, and would provide a slippery surface. System Jo has been recommended to me so many times I felt almost obligated to try it out. I am glad I did!

I decided to buy the 2.5 fl oz bottle because this is a bit pricier lube. I would always prefer to buy another bottle than get something that I have to throw away. I expected this to last a few applications and by then I would know if I wanted to purchase more. Since all three of us have sensitive, crabby genital areas I'm always a bit hesitant to trial anything new. Right from the start both guys agree that this lube is great for anal play, use with toys and provides a great slick surface for a handjob. The lube is clear and has no discernible smell or taste. If a little gets in your mouth it won't cause you to retch but it isn't a flavored blowjob enhancer by any means.

I have used the lube a couple dozen times and have yet to reach the top of the label, a little bit does indeed go a long way with this lube. With more porous toys you will notice a need to re-lubricate more often but with the silicone and glass toys I use one application is usually all I need.

When the lube arrived I was surprised at the size of the bottle, I expected something a bit smaller. The bottle, itself, is made from heavy plastic that gives a sturdy feel to the package. it has a flip top lid which I am partial to since it is easy to open with lube slick fingers though the reader should be aware that it will leak if left open on it's side. As long as the lid is firmly closed it doesn't leak making this super for traveling. The label is fairly discreet though it does say Anal, in red letters, and personal lubricant in gold. The lettering isn't particularly noticeable and the bottle would sit quite comfortably in with lotion and perfume bottles. It is great for just throwing in to a bedside table drawer as well as long as the lid is firmly closed.

This is a water based lube that the label claims has a "silky, smooth silicone feel." I quite agree. The ingredients are pretty straight forward: Propyl Paraben, Methyl Paraben, Sodium Carboxy, Methyl Cellulose, Glycerine, Purified Water.
I know some ladies worry about glycerine but I am prone to both yeast and bacterial overgrowth and I have not reacted negatively to this product.

This lube doesn't dry out easily and has a velvety feel to it that lots of other water based lubes lack. This lube is thicker than most other vaginal lubes; and according to the SystemJo website, is made of the best pharmaceutical ingredients, no oil, wax or silicone. This lube contains no numbing agents.
When the lube dries it leaves a silky feel to the skin rather than a crusty film or sticky feel. It is fine to use this lube and then go to sleep putting off showering until the next morning. Speaking of which the lube washes off easily with warm water so it isn't all that great for shower/tub play.

As a lark we did try this lube as a massage oil and it worked out pretty well! The surface provided was slick enough without feeling overly oily and the lube lasted through about 30 minutes of deep tissue massage before sinking into my partner's dry skin. His skin felt silky smooth and beautifully hydrated afterwards and he felt that this would be a lube you could use as a massage oil and shower in the morning. It did not break out his rash prone skin nor irritate my super sensitive face. Although 30 minutes isn't terribly long for a massage it is pretty good for an anal lube we think!

This lube is 100% latex safe so it can be used both inside a condom and outside to promote a more natural feeling and increase sensation for men. It is safe to use on all types of toys.
SystemJo H20 Anal will not stain sheets and washes away easily if used while playing on a throe. Useful for those messy play times!
