Platinum silicone lubricant - lubricant discontinued by Wet Lubricants - review by Lady Neshamah

I'm no young woman, and the older that I get, the more lube I need to enjoy sex, or for it not to chaff. And silicone based lubes are the ones that last the longest for me. And given the choice, I will always grab a silicone based lube over a water or oil based lube.

Wet's Platinum Bodyglide is just like most silicone based lubes. It has a light consistency that is very silky to the touch. It has no smell or taste at all. It's made from dimethicone, cydomethicone, and dimethiconol. It also has the wonderful little features for safety, such as l-arginine free, petro-chemicals free, paraben free, and glycerin free, for those of us with a lot of allergies to the things that get put into lubes. It's light, non-greasy, and I haven't had any problems with it staining sheets and clothing as of yet.

It only takes a dab of it, about the side of a dime in your hand, and it will last a whole sex session. It's also wonderful for water play or play in the shower, tub, and hot tub. It won't just dissipate into the water and will stay put when you put a little bit in the person who is getting penetrated. Personally, I love doing water play, and Wet's Platinum Bodyglide is the perfect water play lube.

It comes in a flip top bottle, and it can leak if you leave it on its side, so keep this upright when storing it.

For those of you with latex clothing and toys, Platinum Bodyglide works wonders for polishing them all up nice and shiny.

Do not use Platinum Bodyglide with your silicone toys. Not a good match at all. But it is fine with condoms.

I would totally pick this up again.
