Climax bursts anal - lubricant by Topco Sales - review by Airen Wolf

I bought this product along with a few special toys for my husband's birthday. He enjoys anal play and I thought it would be interesting to use a lube specially made for just such an adventure! I was on a budget this year so I decided to try Climax Bursts, as I have tried their products before and was pleased that they worked and didn't leave me or him with an oil slick or a sticky residue after the play.

When the package arrived my husband immediately opened it and ooooh'd and ahhhh'd over the contents and was very surprised that I had thought to order a special lubricant just for him! I smiled and let him know that I would use it as well if he was willing to take this anal newbie slowly down the path to anal loving! He was most ready and wanted to start right then but I reminded him he was home for lunch and quite liable to be very late getting back so he sighed and left with a wicked gleam in his eye.

I played with the bottle of lube and was impressed that the words "anal lubricant" are not emblazoned across the label. This is a rather discreet package and it looks very pretty! The bottle is clear plastic and the vitamin E pellets make it look like champagne gel. There is no discernible fragrance which is a bonus both for the sinuses and the sensitive skin it is used on. The little beads melt on contact and can't even be felt on finger tips so they don't cause any odd sensation when used. The formula is slick and stays slick, making it wonderful for the anal passage which cannot lubricate itself and is very fragile. The lube washes away cleanly with soap and water and the vitamin E leaves your skin feeling moisturized, not stretched or sticky. I have used it in a pinch to moisturize my hands, just to test out if the ingredients would irritate my skin and it works wonderfully!

I am worried about using the lube vaginally as it contains tons of sugars in the form of Cellulose and Glycols. My vaginal area is prone to overreactions so I have not tried this for vaginal lubrication. I imagine it would work just as easily if not be a bit too slick but I'm not willing to risk the yeast infection! It also contains talc which is a no-no in the vaginal area. How much of this would constitute harm, I cannot say; but for my peace of mind, this will remain an anal lube and mostly for him!

This lube is water based so it can be used on any toy, especially silicone toys which can be sterilized after play. Using a condom over the toy during play makes clean up much easier and prolongs the life of the toy, not to mention the icky possibility of cross-contamination of body cavities if you share toys. Just a gentle reminder: change the condom if you change the player!
