I'll Have My Sugar Back, Please.
Overall, this lubricant was not for me. Some people have obviously liked the taste, and if you wish to try it, I would recommend getting the small 1.5 oz. bottle. That way you can see if you like it or not. I would personally prefer the regular Wet lubricant with sugar. It tastes much better to me.Published: June 14, 2011
Pros:
Sugar Free, Good for oral sex (if you like the taste)
Cons:
Tastes horrible, Too watery to be an actual sex lubricant
Wet Sugar Free Strawberry-Kiwi Lubricant is a spin off of the regular lubricant, without sugar. It is designed to be used for oral sex, and I personally would not recommend using it for penetrative sex or masturbation because of its thin, watery nature. You wouldn't get much of the Slip N' Slide you would hope for with a regular lubricant. I purchased the 1.5 oz. bottle to "test it out" in case I didn't like it, and I think that is the right thing to do for everyone else out there.
Your small lubricant bottle comes in no box, simply a bottle by itself in some plastic wrapping. Before being able to pour the lubricant, one must remove the tamper seal underneath the cap. When pouring a drop or two of lubricant on your skin you will notice that it drips almost as easy as water. If you've ever used Pink Water lubricant, you'll know it's pretty watery - Wet Sugar Free lubricant is even more watery. So like I said, this wont make a good sex lubricant. I think it shouldn't even be called a lubricant to be honest.
The taste of this lube is a whole different story. I read such great reviews saying how tasty this lubricant was, and some even compared it to candy! I couldn't have possibly been more mislead by the other reviews. There was such a light flavor to this lubricant that I had trouble remembering what flavor I had purchased without looking at the bottle. Not to mention that the flavor was horrible - very comparable to cough syrup, except worse. I have tasted better flavored lubricants sold in truck stop bathrooms.
You can easily taste the other ingredients, and it is almost like eating a soft antibacterial handsoap. Reminds me a lot of drinking water out of a cup that wasn't washed very well. This fact alone makes the lubricant very hard to enjoy. The light flavor wouldn't have been such an issue if the other ingredients weren't so noticeable.
Ingredients: Deionized water, Glycerin, Carbomer, PEG, Flavor, Propylene, Glycol, Aspartame, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Tetrahydroxypropyl Ethylenediamine, Tetrasodium EDTA, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice, Tocopheryl Acetate, Citric Acid.
If you are sensitive to glycerine I was stay away from this lubricant! The absence of sugar is to help decrease the likely of UTI's and yeast infections occuring with use of flavored lubricants. As you can see from the ingredients, Aspartame took the sugar's place.

Experience
My fiance and I still gave this lubricant a shot for the review's sake... Sad to say, I didn't get too far without gagging this stuff up. Thankfully I didn't purchase a huge bottle, so I could easily just throw this stuff away. It's too thin to have any use as a real lubricant for sex, so there was no point in keeping it.
Follow-up commentary

Still don't like this product. Tastes awful, and over time the taste even gets worse! I'd rather have my sugary oral sex lubes!

Thank you for viewing Wet sugar free – water based lube review page!

Well I guess they tried, right? You have a good idea trying out the small 1.5 oz first. Lube is such a tricky thing! Great review!
It is very tricky, and thanks for the feedback. I think it's good for those who don't enjoy that sugary taste, or just want some weird cough syrup flavor to drown out the taste of their partner's genitals. LOL
Hmmm, sounds like this stuff is a major flop. I'll be passing on this one!
Great review
I HATE artificial sweeteners. I don't use flavored lubes for sex anyway, so I'll stick with my real sugar. Great review.
Thanks guys! Yeah, the flavor shouldn't even be considered flavoring lmao.
Thanks for the review!
I'm a fan of thicker lubricant. Great review!
Thanks for the review.
Thanks for the warning. It's difficult to see if a taste is appropriate without buying.
Great review
