I'm Not Mellow With Yellow....
A good thick water-based lube that is great for solo sessions and sex. Clean up is easy and you get a good sized amount for what you pay. However, if you don't use it often and enough in time, it starts to expire and turn yellow, in which case you'll have to toss out what you never finished using.Published: January 28, 2011

I like thick lubes. Thick, thick lubes, as in hair gel thick. I found this and fell in love, and for the price compared with the size it honestly can't be beat. However, while it's thick, I ran into some problems with this lube.
First off, this lube is water-based. You can use it with anything. Silicone toys, condoms, glass, wood, metal, etc, there won't be a problem. You could even use it for anal since it's so thick, but you may need to reapply the lube every so often. It washes away easily with soap and water, so I wouldn't recommend this for shower/tub/pool use, stick with silicone lube for that. It also doesn't stain sheets, but does leave a little residue, easy to clean up in the wash, though.
Also, for those of you allergic to parabens or glycerin, avoid this lube. It has both. If you want a thick lube that's not synthetic I highly suggest checking out the Sliquid line for that, specifically the Sliquid Organics Gel. It's not as thick but it's vegan friendly.
This lube comes in a standard flip top bottle that you turn over and squeeze to get the lube out. It's tasteless but oddly is not orderless. It has a strange sickly-sweet smell to it, almost like cut apples that have been left out. What causes this smell is beyond me, and I have had two bottles of this stuff and both were the same. There's also a reason I had to get a second bottle, and I will go into details about that in a second. However, despite having a slight odor, it's not overpowering and you only smell it if you hold your nose up to the lube. I also haven't had any reactions to this lube, either, UTI or yeast or otherwise.

The lube came and was crystal clear. Not even 2 weeks later, I noticed it looked odd, but kept using it. A few months later, I could tell for sure it was yellow, like sickly barf yellow, and the odor was stronger. I ended up tossing the stuff and bought another bottle, thinking I had a dud.
My new bottle, which i have barely used, is turning yellow as well.
I have tried contacting someone to fix this, but never got any response to my inquiry. Why these bottles of lube have been turning yellow are a mystery to me. I make sure they're tightly sealed and store them with my other lubes which have no problems and all are as fresh as the day I bought them. Only this brand has issues. I am not sure it has to do with the ingredients, the odor, or maybe the bottle cap isn't constructed properly and bacteria get into the bottle. However, this has caused me much grief as I love this lube, but I don't use it enough to get my money's worth out of it before it turns into a bacteria's all-you-can-eat buffet, and that's what has caused me to give it a lower rating than I would have liked.

It's even more yellow now than it was. I don't even want to use it, and I barely used it. And it's the only lube turning yellow as I have it stored with all my other lubricants all in the same box.
Unless you can use this stuff real quick, invest in some other lube. I think some ingredients were skimped on or something for bacteria to take over this water-based lube so quickly. Really disappointed, too, since it's so nice and thick.

Plus, those condoms designed for extra sensations for Him may be even better with such a tight fit). I've used Pjur backdoor and while it's consistency is good, the jojoba oil for 'relaxing' the area gives a very peculiar sensation that's not quite warm or tingly or anything, just present and unwelcome. For some women, that's WAY too much. So if I were to pick a product I would definitely say the Pink Silicone Lubricants (available on this site). They even have Vitamin E and the design of the bottle looks discrete and feminine.

Excellent review. Turning bad after a few weeks definitely qualifies as a negative.
It might be a reaction from exposure to light since it's in a clear bottle. Try keeping it in the dark maybe? Good review.
@ Kindred: I actually do keep it in the dark. It's in a shoebox with all my other lube under my bed, and all my other lubes are fine.
