Ice Ice Baby
This lube lived up to what I wanted in a Hybrid lube. It easily matches up well with my fave clit gels, so I feel as though it's well worth it to have everything in one little bottle and I highly recommend it!Published: September 6, 2011
Pros:
Stays slick, Feels very much like a clitoral gel
Cons:
Silicone can stain sheets, not to be used with Silicone toys.
I'd tried warming lubes before and was never a fan, so when I saw cooling lube I was quick to write it off and put it in the same category. I'm an addict when it comes to clitoral gels, I've gathered a good collection over the years and found some that are must haves. Whenever I found one that was warming, I didn't like it. The cooling ones were a different story, so when I thought of it, maybe this lube would feel like a really good stimulating gel? I decided to try it out by buying the small bottle and I'm glad I did!
First of all, as a lube it is amazing. It's a hybrid so it is water based and silicone and is thicker and gel like. It's slick but if you continue to rub it in it will dry to a baby powder finish, so of course it doesn't get sticky or tacky and doesn't feel oily or greasy, but instead silky and smooth. This lube is thick enough that if you take the bottle, remove the cap and hold it upside down...it will not drip out! Now that was what I found within the first few months of owning it, afterwards when I reattempted it, it seemed as though the lube had separated in the bottle and it ran out quite fast. It has a really nice peppermint smell to it, I didn't find it too overpowering, but it's definitely not a light smell and quite noticeable with a peppermint taste to it. Though this lube is not marketed as edible.
This lube easily ranks up there with my favorite clitoral gels! I like something nice and strong and this definitely fit the bill for that. It felt amazing when I applied it and I could feel the cooling sensation almost instantly. When I used my vibe even on the lowest speed it was extremely intense! This lube contains silicone so it should not be used with silicone toys. Aside from that there are really not any cons that I can think of, the pros far outweigh them. If you're looking to try a cooling hybrid lube I strongly recommend giving this one a chance!

What is your favorite lube? Brands, bases, etc?

I use water-based lube almost exclusively, since so many of my toys are silicone. :) I used to really love System JO H2O, and still do, but lately I've been feeling that Sliquid H2O is the best for me. It dries up a bit faster, but JO dries a little bit sticky (dunno if I'm just noticing it more or whatever), while Sliquid doesn't. Plus, Sliquid lubes are very body-safe, while JO has glycerin and a ton of parabens.
Sliquid still can't top JO when it comes to flavored lubes, though. :D -
Mine's Liquid Silk. I've used a couple different brands, and I keep going back to it. I'll buy some Maximus eventually, since Liquid Silk isn't as great for anal play, but I'll probably always have a bottle of Liquid Silk on hand.
I prefer water-based, too, partly because of my silicone toys and partly because silicone lubes are so much harder to clean up. But I am on the hunt for a good silicone lube to use in the shower (I have mastered wrapping most of my toys in condoms to keep them safe.) Heard good things about Pink and Toko, but haven't tried either yet.

Thank you for viewing Wet Synergy cool tingle – lubricant review page!

Sounds like a great lube. Neat that it is a cooling hybrid mix.
Great review
I've never had this stain my sheets, and Synergy + Cooling Tingle and original Synergy is all I use...
what are the ingredients in this lube? thanks for sharing.
I know that silicone in general can stain sheets, I never had any problems with this one but I don't think it actually has come in contact with the sheets at any point so I just wanted to throw that in there to give a heads up. Thanks for letting me know that it doesn't stain, this is a pretty perfect hybrid lube!
The ingredients are:
Glycerin, Deionized Water, Dimethiconol, Sodium Polyacrylate, Dimethicone,Cyclopentasiloxane, Trideceth-6, PEG/PPG Dimethicone, Pentylene Glycol, Peppermint
Thanks for the comments!
It's very cooling...
it is, it might be too intense for some, it isn't a light cooling that's for sure Thanks for the comments everyone!
