ID glide review
For people who either want to make a long-term lube investment or don't want to worry about running out for a while, this is a rather good product that's absolutely worth the price.Published: May 26, 2008
Pros:
It was easy to use alone or with a partner, didn't have an odor, and the size was worth the price.
Cons:
It sometimes stuck to my fingers after a while, but even then, it was easy to wipe off and go on.
I tend to go through a lot of lubricants with my partners, so my boyfriend finally decided to purchase the 35.5 oz. container with a pump dispenser while I was away for a weekend. It sure surprised me when, upon return, I came into the bedroom to see a huge container of lube sitting next to the bed, almost as if challenging me to try and finish it. I gladly took up this challenge and by the end of nine months or so, we finally finished the bottle, with friends suggesting we spray-paint it gold and create a sex trophy out of it for our display of endurance and tenacity.
During that time I had all pleasant experiences using this lube. We successfully tried it for vaginal and anal sex on myself, and I made sure to thoroughly take advantage of the pump mechanism when topping my boyfriend, as he always requires a great amount of preparation and stretching. We've used it, it seems, for everything from being fisted to hand jobs, and it's a good sign that, when we finished the bottle, we went out and purchased another one of the same size!
The size of the bottle was a great investment for the money because it lasted a long time and there were never any problems with it leaking or clogging. Because I prefer to use so much lube during sex, it made sense to purchase something long-lasting and versatile.
The only minus I can think of is that I prefer the slickness of silicone-based lubricants, so the ID glide felt like it left a very slightly sticky and gummy residue on my hands. But, no problems, I just wiped them off whenever it felt that way and continued. And it felt great to not worry so much about running out!

I received a sample and want to make sure it's the real thing before writing a review.

I got this sample with a wholesale order:

Is this the one EF is selling in larger bottles, so can I review it? -
It looks the same to me. If you're going to review it, do note that you have a smaller sample size tho.

It got pretty good ratings but it's like the worst thing I ever tried maybe 2/5. So not sure if it's just my personal preference or just plain different. Ingredients looks like the same tho. I read your durex warming review! I like that lube and use it to the day. This is far worse than that in terms of smell and performance. I got a premium silicone lube recently and I can finally understand why people gave 2/5 to the durex warming :) But I like it anyway, it's different. But made me realize what tacky really means and now I got a better picture.

Why is this product not sold in the same types of containers?
-
I am wondering why the different weights are sold in different containers. The 17.5 oz. container looks the best, but costs more. The 4 oz bottle looks weird, and I don't like it. They should be sold in same-looking containers. Any comments? Agreements?

I think it'd be much better if they made them all the same as you suggested. I guess they figure they're just giving people a choice in the way the lube is disposed?

Personally it doesn't bother me what the bottle looks like. Some I am sure are easier to conceal in a pocket or purse for the purpose of travel. Others do to their size like the one I baught being 35 oz. looks like a shampoo bottle and you could probably have out in the open as long as someone didn't take to close a look at it. I am sure they had their reasons for making the bottles the way they did.

Thank you for viewing ID glide – lubricant review page!

35.5 oz???! Wow! This is a great everyday lube, though, and I tend to use it as a go-to lube for toys that aren't difficult to insert or overly large. And just imagine what that size bottle of a silicone-based lube would have cost you!!!
I love pump bottles, all lube should come this way.
Almost 36 oz! That would be industrial sized for me.. I'm used to the little tiny bottles that run out after a week. lol. You really took a chance for so much money and for such a large size I'd really hate getting stuck with someone awful.
