somewhat useful review
This lube does it all and does it well. It is a perfectly safe, very slick, overall great product that lubricates well without leaving a super-sticky after-mess (of course there is still clean-up, but when isn't there?). I have used this lube for just about everything and it works well.

This product is perfect for use with toys. It is extremely easy to apply, can easily be applied in desired amounts and doesn't spill often, all thanks to the bottle. Whether it is masturbators, vibrators, or anything in between, this lube will help anything slide anywhere, if you know what I mean.

As for use during person to person contact, this lube does it all. It works very well for vaginal intercourse. It couldn't be better. And for anal sex, this lube works very well to reduce friction. However, if you are looking for something that desensitizes, I would recommend a different product, such as Anal Eze. But for everything else, whatever you can think of, it works great. The only thing I wouldn't recommend this for is oral (obviously). I had the unfortunate experience of getting some in my mouth once. It didn't kill me, but I would definitely avoid the experience. Even though the product is "Unflavored and Fragrance-Free", I tend to disagree with that.

This product is water-based, which means it cleans up really easy. ID Glide also doesn't have any chemicals which tend to cause irritation. Other lubes I have used have cause some problems before, but in my experience, I have never had any problems with this lube.

Overall I recommend this product to anyone looking for a good all around lube. The value of this product is outstanding, especially in the larger sizes. A lot more bang for your buck than others products in this category. This is an absolutely outstanding product.

It's worth noting that the lube contains glycerin, which can cause yeast infections in women prone to them. It also can cause some stickiness, as well.

Also, recommending desensitizing products might not be the best idea. Pain is your body telling you that something is wrong. Anal play, if done correctly, *shouldn't* hurt, and if it does, you need to slow down, add more lube, and relax. If you can't feel pain, then you can't feel if something is ripping or tearing, and you won't know if something is wrong or damaged because you can't feel it.
