Sliquid Swirl is water-based edible lubricant, intended to be used for oral sex. This non-toxic, non-staining, water-soluble lube is 100% vegan, hypoallergenic, glycerine free, paraben free, L-arginine free, and petro-chemicals free. It can be used safely with latex, rubber, plastic, or silicone. It comes in a variety of tasty flavors. This is especially handy for those of us who are looking for a fun new twist on oral stimulation or who have an aversion to the natural taste of the body. Both men and women can enjoy this wonderfully slick, flavorful lubricant.

Although I have used this lubricant in a pinch for solo masturbation and for intercourse, I think Sliquid Swirl is at its absolute finest when used as a lubricant for manual stimulation in conjunction with oral. While it has held up well during other activities, I love, love, love to use this lube when I'm giving a handjob. Unlike other lubricants that have a nasty taste, I can easily add in a teasing brush of the lips or a flick of the tongue and enjoy a burst of fruity flavor.

Sliquid swirl is a fairly thin, transparent lubricant. I would compare it to the consistency of a typical hand or body lotion. It is a little bit runny, which makes it almost too easy to pour. I wish it was just a little bit thicker so that it would have less of a tendency to get all over the place if you squeeze out too much.

The bottle claims that Sliquid Swirl has been "uniquely blended to emulate your body's own natural lubrication". I feel that this is true. The lubricant accurately mimics natural lubrication, with a slippery texture that avoids being sticky, goopy, or greasy. As it dries and meets with extended amounts of friction it has a tendency to become ever so slightly frothy.

I do like the taste of this lubricant, although it is decidedly artificial. I have the pina colada flavor. It tastes like sort of a combination of pineapple, coconut, and banana. It actually reminds me of a Laffy Taffy candy. There is no yucky aftertaste, although the flavor will linger on your tongue for a short period. I find that to be a bonus!

The smell is somewhat strong and will linger on your skin for a short while before it wears off. I'm dying to try some of the other flavors, which include cherry vanilla, green apple, blue raspberry, pink lemonade, and strawberry pomegranate.

It really depends on what you're doing with it. If you're simply slathering it on and then giving some hot and heavy head, it's not likely to last very long as you will undoubtedly be swallowing some of it in the process. It's still a great way to start off and the flavor will linger for some time on your tongue and on your partner's skin. If you're using it for a slow, sensual handjob/blowjob, it has a tendency dry somewhat and to need reapplication every ten minutes or so. Alternately, you can use your saliva to help reactivate it, as water-based lubricants can be revived by the addition of a little moisture. Depending on what I'm using it for, I've had it last anywhere from ten minutes to a half an hour. The addition of more water or saliva seems to dilute it, which will help it to last longer, but will also diminish the flavor slightly.

The bottle is very simple, with a cap that you push down on in order to expose the opening. A slight squeeze will bring out a stream of liquid. Unfortunately, this design is particularly cumbersome when your hands are already all full of lube. I would recommend leaving the cap in the open position so that you can just grab the bottle, tip it upside down, and give it a little squeeze to reapply, rather than having to fumble with gripping it and pressing the cap down to open it. It would definitely benefit from a differently designed bottle.

My bottle of pina colada Sliquid Swirl intimate lubricant has the old style label, which I find to be very tacky and unattractive. It pictures a blond "woman" (floating hair, eyes, and a mouth) on a pink background that is speckled with the female symbol (?). There is a pineapple on the front also. The new bottles are so much classier! Love them.
