I bought this lube specifically for oral sex. I was looking for something water based, long lasting, and pleasantly flavored and for the most part, I found that.

System JO H2O flavored lube is water based, and free of petro-chemicals and L-Arginine. It does however contain glycerine which may be a problem for those interested in using it for vaginal sex that are sensitive to that chemical. It comes in a 5.25 oz. bottle with a really user friendly pop-open top. You simply press the colored tab at the top of the container and the lid pops open, and can be snapped back closed just as easily. The packaging has led to no leakage for me even when not stored upright and is easy enough to squeeze to get the product out. The packaging is not discreet, but it is at least informative.

This lube is definitely on the thinner side compared to some others I've tried. It will run and doesn't necessarily stay in place, but does spread nicely if that's a feature you're looking for. I personally like spread-ability in a flavored lube because then you can get a thin layer of flavor over your partner's skin, not a glob of lube from one location. You also don't have to use nearly as much as with some other lubes since it can be spread so thin. It lasts longer than I initially expected it to based on its viscosity. If used during rougher sexual activity it will need to be reapplied but during oral sex, saliva will keep it going for quite a while. The flavor also lingers longer than some other flavored products that seem to disappear at first lick. My favorite quality of this lube is that it did not, at any point during use, become sticky - that's a huge product turn-off for me.

I tried the banana first and while it is a slightly artificial and very sweet flavor, it is definitely that of a banana. I've also tried the watermelon which I would describe as tasting like a watermelon Jolly Rancher, minus some of the tartness. Neither flavor has that tongue-numbing medicinal flavor some other products do. They are also both very fragrant in addition to being flavored so if you are looking for something to provide complete discretion, you may want to come up with an excuse as to why your body or room smells like a candy store later on that day. The flavor, scent, and lube do wash off easily with water and a cloth (or a sex wipe or wet-one) but until they are actually removed, the scent and flavor will hang around for at least a few hours. When we use this in my bedroom, the room usually still smells like bananas the next morning.

Overall, I don't have any major complaints about this product. I wish the flavors were a little more realistic and less sugary tasting but I'm willing to overlook that since it fills all of my other requirements. And although it works great for oral sex, I would definitely not recommend it for anal as it's simply too thin. As far as vaginal penetration or hand jobs, I think the need for reapplication when saliva isn't in use would hinder me there as well. But it does what I personally purchased it for extremely well.
