Jack's Aide gets a raise!

This silicone lube is on par, or better, than other silicone lubes we have tried They all share the common ability to last quite a while without reapplication and provide a smooth surface so that stroking or penetration can take place without fear of pain or friction burns, both of which can quickly turn a fun session into a disaster. JackAide deserves all 5 stars and I am awarding them to it.

Use

This slick and thick silicone lube is sold as a male masturbatory lubrication, but truly it can be used by men and women seeking the assistance of a quality silicone sexual lubrication. It works equally well for men or women, solo or with a partner(s). I often need lube for intercourse but not so much for masturbation with a vibrator. On the rare ocassion that I use my fingers only I do need lube.

Because this is in the silicone family, it is not useable with many, many toys. Do not attempt to use any silicone lube, including JackAide, with silicone toys. I know it goes against common sense, but silicone plus silicone equals disaster! I am not a chemist but I have often read that if silicone toys touch each other there will be surface damage. The same thing occurs with silicone lube and silicone toys. Toys made from most realistic, patented materials (Cyberskin, VixSkin, UR3 and others) are not safe for use with silicone lubes. Since this is sold as a male masturbation lube, I want to emphasize that the very popular male sleeves by both Fleshlight and Tenga are not compatible with JackAide. JackAide is compatible with latex so it is safe to use with most male condoms.

Neither of us are familiar with anal activities so I can not offer an opinion. It is thick, smooth and effective for male and female, masturbation and vaginal sex.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

I find that liquid silicone lubes are slightly thicker than liquid water based lubes and JackAide is no exception. It is packaged in a small, clear plastic bottle with a screw off top. I admit that at first I found the imposing picture of a fist rather intimidating, but I go used to seeing it. JackAide pours easily but is difficult to control the amount you want. I wish it had one of those flip tops so you could gently squeeze a bit where you want the lube without worrying you are getting the lube everyplace but where you want it.

JackAide, as with most silicone lubes, is very smooth and slick. It does not clump or become sticky/tacky, which makes it my lube of choice when needed. It is a clear liquid (thicker than water--about as thick as cream) and remains clear during use. One of my pet peeves about water based lubes are feeling crumbs in the bed from the lube clumping up. This is a huge problem with the very famous tube of water based lube (probably the first one many of us tried!!).

Taste / Aroma

There is not a taste or scent to JackAide. For us, this is another positive. We do not like flavored or scented lubricants. All the additives make me nervous about using them so intimately. We do like scented creams and candles, but nothing that we feel can potentially be harmful.

Performance

In a word, this stuff works great!!! It is not water based so it can be used in the tub and/or shower without fear of it washing off in water. If you enjoy shower sex I suggest applying this before entering and not bringing the container with you. This minimizes the risk of a spillage and the shower floor becoming slippery and causing a fall. Still, exercise caution.

For my solo sessions and his solo sessions we both found that a little bit goes a long way. During vaginal sex together we used a bit more than we did during solo, but that is not unusual for us. We do not use condoms but this is latex compatible, so use and have no fears!

Follow-up commentary
This is a nice, slick all purpose lube that works very well and has staying power. The only downer is that being silicone, it is not compatible with so many of the toys you may be using.
