I had been looking for a new arousal lube to try for quite some time now. I wanted one that would provide a little extra something without setting my genitals on fire. While this lubricant didn't blow me away, I thought it provided a pleasant buzz, so to speak. Its thick texture makes it suitable for both vaginal and anal sex without the need for constant reapplication. If you're looking for something to send you to the lip biting, bed frame rattling moon, look elsewhere. If you want a nice addendum to good foreplay, solo play, or sex (vaginal or anal) this is worth a try.

The lube itself is fairly thick as far as water-based lubricants go. I found it a little difficult to pour (since it's thicker, almost jelly-like), but this evens out when you take into consideration how easily the bottle can be opened with one hand. It has a nice, smooth texture to it. I didn't find it to be too sticky or too greasy, though it may feel a little sticky after a bit. This didn't seem too unusual to me, though. The little beads of vitamin E are a nice touch, but I don't think they do much for this lube one way or another. After all, this is a lubricant and not an anti-aging facial moisturizer.

One good thing is that this product doesn't have any added flavors or scents. That is good for people with sensitive skin or allergies. The lube itself is practically odorless. It has a slight smell to it that I would describe as maybe "soapy," but it's nothing grotesque or overpowering. That being said, don't let the odorless part fool you. This lubricant tastes pretty bad. The medicinal ingredients, like the yohimbine, maca, and gotu kola are not known for their palatable qualities. Using it for oral might be a bit of a buzz kill. The "buzz" the lubricant provides does not make up for the fact that it tastes like you're chewing on bitter, medicinal herbs.

I think I set myself up for disappointment by going into this with expectations. The bottle looks like some sort of space-age tonic for sexual dysfunction. When it didn't put me in a rocket and tip me over the edge, I was a little bummed. What can be said is that it is a good, thick, long-lasting, water-based lubricant. It’s compatible with all my toys, and can be used for both vaginal and anal play. While it does contain parabens and glycerin, I personally didn't find myself irritated when using it (your mileage may vary). When I was done, I did feel like I needed to wash myself out. The leftover residue was heavy and kind of sticky. It was pleasant in the midst of the moment, but not so much during clean-up.

The best thing about this product is probably the bottle that it comes in. It looks like something out of science fiction! You could easily travel with this, since it just looks like a cosmetic item. This doesn't scream "LUBRICANT!” (which is a big plus if you have it sitting out like I do). It's easy to open, relatively easy to dispense (with a good shake, since it's such a thick lube), and hard to spill. What more could I ask for in a lubricant bottle?

While this isn't explicitly a "warming" lubricant, I felt a nice warming sensation upon application. I'm not sure if this was some sort of weird placebo effect or what, but it's worth mentioning.
