Liquid Silk is exactly what its name implies: a silky lubricant intended for vaginal sex or masturbation. I am not sure if this would be good for anal, but I do know that it feels so natural and you can't even tell it's there once you use it!

Although this lube is on the thinner side, it is still thick enough to have some substance to it and it definitely isn't runny. There is no sticky mess, and it seems to moisturize the area it is applied to as well as lubricate it. It is quite creamy and silky feeling.

Liquid Silk washes off very easily and does not stain sheets. There is no fuss, no mess. The pump top on the bottle makes it even better to disperse, by giving you the right amount you need.

As far as taste goes, my partner and I both failed this lube. It tastes horrible to us, and it reminds me of watermelon flavored hairspray. I don't like the taste of watermelons or hairspray, so this was an epic fail for me. However the taste is out weighed by everything else about this lube.

My experience with this product has been wonderful. It washes off easily with soap and warm water and leaves no stains on sheets or clothes. It feels natural and lasts for a very long time (one to two pumps are all I need for a whole session of 20- 45 mins) and it doesn't dry up and cause irritation. It almost feels as if this lube moisturizes as it is absorbed into the skin as well.


The ingredients of Liquid Silk are listed as follows: Highly Purified Water, Propylene Glycol, Isopropyl Palmitate, Dimethicone, Cellulose Polymer, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate NSE, B.N.P.D, Di Sodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Methyl Paraben, Butyl Paraben, Ethyl Paraben.

Parabens are known for irritating those with more sensitive skin, so this is something to be on the lookout for. I personally don't have any irritation when using this product but I have noticed that a lot of people here on EF report parabens as being a big no-no ingredient for them.

Another great thing about Liquid Silk is that you get a ton of it for a good price. 8.25 oz doesn't sound like a lot, but it is. Add the fact that a little of this goes a long way and you have a deal!
