System JO H2O flavored lubricant by System JO - review by ~LaUr3n~

If you have experienced JO lubricants, you already know that they are great. This new lubricant from JO will be "your new best friend". It is the same old amazing lubricant but with a delicious flavor added to it. This is a water base lubricant making it safe for all types of toys. It is great for oral or oral after sex, or sex alone. It isn't the best for anal or the shower, but the flavor and smell is great. You won't have a gross taste in your mouth if you decide to go south. It lasts a long time and will rarely need to be reapplied, if at all. There are a few concerns for some though because of the ingredients.

Here are the ingredients:

Propyl Paraben, Methyl Paraben, Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose, Glycerin, Purified Water, Pomegranate flavor and aroma

The parabens and glycerin may make some individuals more at risk for UTI infections. This is not true for me, so I had no concerns when using this lubricant. A good thing is that it contains no artificial sweeteners, and is free of both L-Arginine and petro-chemicals. It is also non-toxic, non-staining, and safe with condoms.

JO's H20 lubricant is thicker than most water based lubes that I have tried. It isn't runny, which I really like. It stays where you put it and doesn't get too messy. It is also easy to squeeze out of the bottle and spread where you desire it to be. It does not feel sticky or greasy, but rather smooth and slick. The front of the bottle says it feels silky smooth like silicone. I'd say that this claim is fair. It doesn't feel like the top end silicone lubricants, but it is on the high end of water based ones.

Here is the real money maker. The aroma is great! I opened the bottle and smelled the pomegranate. It smells so good, that I wanted to eat it! I quickly dabbed a bit on my hand and did a taste test. It tastes just as good as it smells. Super sweet and yummy. There is no icky aftertaste either. Like I said, I got the pomegranate flavor which actually is not provided here on Edenfantasys. It tasted and smelled like an unnatural pomegranate because the taste is very strong, but good none the less. The smell even lingers on the skin after play. I knew this was going to be great for oral sex and I couldn't wait to try it.

JO's H20 flavored lubricant isn't just for oral sex. It proved to work well for intercourse as well. It was unbelievable how long it lasted! I never had to reapply it even when changing positions and the lubricant was exposed to more air. It was pleasantly smooth and slick. I expected it to get sticky, but it never did. I loved using this for a hand job and then some oral on my partner. It didn't get in the way and felt nice against his skin. The taste didn't get sickening and I never grew tired of it. My partner on the other hand hated the taste. To him, it was too fruity. But in all honesty, he doesn't like most fruits that much. So, if you don't like fruit, then this lubricant probably won't be great for you. It isn't a loss though because I love it and we loved it during sex. The lubricant doesn't absorb into the skin very well so be sure to wash it off with water afterward.

This lubricant is not the best for in the shower, but it wasn't too bad for anal toys. Since it is thicker than most, it held up well and eased insertion. I don't recommend it for anal sex however. This lubricant has an amazing ability to make anything taste good. Using it on a condom, even masked the latex smell and taste afterward.

The packaging for this lubricant is both unique and interesting. The bottle is large at 5.25 ounces. Normally I would say that at this price it is a lot for a water base lubricant, but you get your money's worth with the size. Plus you don't need to use a lot for this to be effective. A dime size dollop was adequate for sex and oral. I would imagine that this bottle would last a very long time.

It has a unique flip open top. You press the red button, after removing the safety tape, and the top pops open. The bottle may leak a little under the top, but it won't leak to the outside. I don;t recommend it for travel because there is nothing but a bit of pressure keeping this top closed. The bottle is clean, showing how much lubricant is left inside. It is made from recyclable plastic and has a lot of information on the outside. The front has the name of the lubricant, a picture of a pomegranate, and a few highlighted points about the product. Turning the bottle around shows the ingredients, directions, and warnings.

If irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately. I experienced no discomfort while using this product and my partner reported only a second or two of tingling when it was first applied. The packaging is discreet because the word lubricant is super tiny. If this were amongst other bathroom beauty items, it would likely go unnoticed.

I give this lubricant 5 stars. I recommend it because it has longevity, great taste, and aroma. If you are sensitive, still remember that this contains glycerin and parabens. It also is able to be used with condoms and toys of all materials. The bottle is of considerable size and will last a long time. It is also discreet enough to be able to sit out with other products. Give this lubricant a try! It really makes the different with oral if you have difficulty in that area. Some people don't like the taste of their partner and this will surely get rid of that worry. If you don't like pomegranate, try one of the other wonderful flavors that they offer.
