Liquid silk - lubricant discontinued by Bodywise Limited - review by Happy Camper

My very first lube in my first order from EdenFantasys (or any other sex toy store). I bought it to use with my Silicone Crystal Cote|Sex Toy Reviews - Silicone Crystal Cote and in a lot of ways, I was more pleased with the lubricant than with the toy I bought to use it with!

What impressed me most about Liquid Silk|Liquid silk was how long lasting it was and how little of it I needed to use. It felt so slick between my fingers and while I applied it generously at first, I soon discovered that just a dab was more than enough. And even after playtime was over, I’d reach down hours later to find myself still ready for action. I devised an experiment one day by applying a little lube to myself in the morning at home before going off to my lectures. The bathroom breaks throughout the day made for a very good time and even when I got home six hours later, I didn’t need to reapply to use my toy to be comfortable.

The couple things I didn’t like about this toy were the scent. I didn’t dare taste it after reading the other reviews on the site but while the scent isn’t terribly strong, it still doesn’t smell very fresh. And seeing how long it tends to stick around, it’d be nice if it had a more pleasant smell. The cleaner I have smells better than the lube. The only other downside was that it didn’t work nearly as well at bath time. You’ll get that with most water-based lubricants, but even so, I was disappointed.

Liquid Silk|Liquid silk review was all in all a very good product and unless you plan for oral, I would recommend it for all sexual encounters. My toys I store in a box underneath my bed, by I love my Liquid Silk|Liquid silk review so much, I’m not embarrassed at all to keep it on my night stand, and with the frequency at which I use it, that’s a good thing.

Since first reviewing Liquid Silk, I've gone on a medication that makes me quite prone to yeast infections and I have a lot of weird reactions to substances that I didn't even have to think about before. Liquid Silk tended to be one of those substances where if I was near an outbreak, it would have the reverse of the a moisturizing effect that it had before, but instead started to have a drying effect. In doing some research I came across a site that boasted that Liquid Silk "is also formulated to be bio-static, this means, should it be exposed to any bacteria, yeast infection or fungal spores it will stop them spreading." When in my experience, if I was on the verge of another infection, it as terribly bothersome and unhelpful with my yeast infection.

The odor is also something that I've grown to not care for. On the skin, it has a very nice moisturizing after effect but the odor doesn't quite make me want to rub it all over myself anymore, no matter how soft it makes the area that you apply it to.

I was very new to the world of lube when I first reviewed this product. And in truth, it seems to be a popular product so if you prefer your lube to be light and runny and super slick, this is probably still a good choice. But in experimenting a little bit, I definitely have found other preferred lubes of choice and this one will probably continue to get very little action from me.
