Love liquid review

The Love Liquid Sensual Lubricant is a water-based lubricant which is longer lasting than many water-based lubes I have tried in the past. It is unscented, dermatologist tested, and doesn’t contain sugars, making it ideal for women who are sensitive or prone to yeast infections. It also does not get thick or gelatinous, but simply absorbs into the skin with prolonged use. Overall a good lube, but is it worth the price?

The Love Liquid Sensual Lubricant is a water-based lubricant which is longer lasting than many water-based lubes I have tried in the past. It is unscented, dermatologist tested, and doesn’t contain sugars, making it ideal for women who are sensitive or prone to yeast infections. It also does not get thick or gelatinous, but simply absorbs into the skin with prolonged use.

Love Liquid comes in a plastic squeezable bottle, making it easy to apply, although I prefer a pump for lubes as they are easier to access and less messy. I mostly use water-based lubes for use with silicone sex toys as you can’t use a silicone lube (my preference) as it will ruin the toy. In comparison with silicone lubes, Love Liquid is less slippery and doesn’t last as long, so wouldn’t be as good for sex play as a silicone based lube. Kama Sutra does make a silicone alternative however called Pleasure Potion, although I have not tried it and cannot recommend its use. In comparison with other water-based lubes, it is very good, although much more expensive. It is slipperier than most, lasts longer, doesn’t get sticky, and has a silky feel to it. It is also does not contain parabens which can irritate to some women's genital area and cause rashes. It is sugar-free as well, but does still contain glycerin, which means, that although it may be O.K. with some women who experience yeast infections, it may cause problems with others as glycerin is a sugar. I didn’t experience any adverse reactions to using it, even though I am prone to yeast infections on occasion.

Although it is great for masturbation, I still prefer a silicone lube for sex play, and have yet to find a water-based lube that can hold up as long and feel as slippery. This lube is unscented and has a slight taste that is not unpleasant. It is condom and latex safe.

I've wondered about this one for quite awhile now, since I love Kama Sutra's products.  Since I also prefer water-based lubes for toy play, I'll have to give this one a try!

Just tried Eros, and it ROCKS!!!  But then it's silicone vs. water-based...

  • water based = sticky
    • i know water based is the way to go if you're using a condom, but i hate how they always seem to get sticky! even the high end ones. has anybody tried a water based lube that hasn't gotten sticky on them?

I just reviewed one on my blog! You can't find it on Eden for some reason (they have a ton of other System JO products), but here's the link. Review

I like wet bare naturals and pink water and neither of those get sticky for us :)
