Lube it up

This is a great lubricant if you need something water-based, or if you only use water-based lubricants like I do. The pump makes it super easy to use, and it locks up for travel as well. The bottle isn't exactly discreet, but it can be hidden among your bathroom supplies provided you're not worried if anyone looks too closely if you don't keep a bedside table, as we do.

ID Moments Water-Based lubricant is a great product. Though I've never used silicone, oil or hybrid lubes, it is one of the best water-based that I've tried. My girlfriend picked up this product because of the pump, and it remains our favorite aspect about it. The pump lid makes it easy to use one-handed, even on a soft surface like a bed, so there's no need to keep it on the table. The pump also twists to lock, which means that despite the fact that it lacks a lid, it's safe for travel. It is a bit annoying for my security concerns that it doesn't come with a plastic cap, but we've never had any problems with it leaking either out of the pump or around the top.

The bottle is pink, which may be a turn off for a male purchaser, but it's easily hidden among female body products within our bathroom, if there's a reason why it can't be kept in a drawer or toy chest. The lubricant itself isn't like the brand Pink, where it's formulated for women, so it would presumably be suited just fine to solo play for men as well as women. It's a very smooth lubricant, which makes it perfect for vaginal use as well as masturbation.

This lubricant was bit a little runny, but other than the fact that it makes for messy application, it's actually great. It's about the same consistency as the lubricants that I used before I "knew better," Astroglide and Wet. The difference here, though, is that there is no glycerin, which is great because both my girlfriend and I have issues with glycerin within lubricants. We're not interested in anal play, but from what I know of anal lubes, it seems to be a little bit thin to work well for that.

This lubricant lasts for a very long time, I've found, which is great in terms of reapplication. It does wind up sticky, as all water-based lubricants do, if things don't get naturally wet enough. Luckily for us, we apply lubricants only right when we're starting out and let things run their course from there, so this hasn't been an issue unless we don't bother to clean up.

ID Moments Water-Based lubricant is safe for use with any toys that can come into contact with water. It's easy to wash off with soap and water, and doesn't stain or leave behind residue. It doesn't smell or taste very good, so it's definitely not meant for oral sex, but the uses otherwise abound. As with all water-based lubricants, it won't hold up for use in water, but it's perfectly silky outside.
