ID Him Lubricating cream is an ultra rich lubricant that has a leather scent. The lubricating cream's intended use is for male masturbation and/or sex. However, ID Him is an oil-based lubricant. If using with a woman, please use it with caution. Oil-based lubricants can cause yeast infections which are not any fun at all. The best use for this product is to use as a masturbation lubricant for men. It also has a very noticeable leather scent. If you like the smell of leather, this might be a good lubricant for you.

I strongly discourage women from using this product because of the ingredients.

Complete ingredient list: Water, Mineral Oil (Paraffinum Liquidum), Petrolatum, Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Beeswax (Apis Mellifera), Sorbitan Stearate, Stearic Acid, Cetearyl Alcohol, Ceteareth 20, Cetearyl Alcohol, Lanolin Oil, Polysorbate 60, Sodium Tetraborate, Methylparaben, Propylp.

The lubricating cream is very thick and has a texture very similar to lotion. We were thrown off by how fast it absorbs. It rubs on white and turns clear. After rubbing the cream on, the skin area becomes very greasy. It left an unattractive film on our skin that we did not care for.

As for dispensing it, this is very easy to do. It is in a container that has a lid that opens up. You can then dip your finger into to remove some. It is easy to control how much is removed, thus preventing waste. The cream comes in a very small container though, only 1 oz. It lasted for a small two uses. This is not a long lasting product, and probably not ideal for any masturbation. Personally, if you want this kind of texture, I think you should just pick up a $1 bottle of lotion. There is no difference.

Once the lid is opened on the cream the very strong scent of leather escapes. It is very noticeable. I like to think that I like the smell of leather, especially on new leather toys. In a lube? Not so much. It was just awkward. We did not exactly understand why a man would want to jack off with a lube that smells this way. I am not quite sure where the manufacturer was going with this idea. On a another note, if I were to use this for sex, I would never want my coochie to smell this way. The aroma was a very big turn off for us. My man told me he would use this for the sake of the review and then we will bid goodbye to it. He did not care for the aroma either.

I tasted an area of skin where I rubbed the cream in. There was no significant taste. I still would not recommend using this as an oral lubricant. First, you would have to get past the unpleasant smell. Second, you would probably get a mouthful of gross chemicals.

I wish I could find something good to say about this product, but I just cannot think of anything to praise it on. Performance fell flat in every way. Using ID Him lubricating cream is just like squirting lotion on your package. It does not last very long and reapplication is needed over and over. I understand some men like lotion and will stand by it forever. I just do not think you would spend $5 on 1 oz that is going to be gone in one or two uses. It is not practical and is a big waste of money.

This cream also has oil bases in it. Stain happy lube right here! All of the oil packed in this little container will leave your clothes, sheets, etc with nasty stains. You are going to want to avoid getting it on things. If you do, I would treat it right away with a stain remover and wash immediately.

The cream comes in a little plastic container. The lid opens on and the cream can be dipped with a finger. The container is mildly discreet. It does say the name of the product but it does look like a little lotion or lip balm container. The back has the ingredients and expiration date on it.
