Wife: "Initially, it has a thick, genuinely pleasurable feel, but it will quickly turn to a "syrup with flour in it" quality, unless it's frequently reapplied. It is thicker than your average, major brand lubricant, but it will not feel as runny or oily afterward. You just have to use so dang much of it to get anywhere. The taste can be overpowering because of the necessary reapplications. It didn't taste bad, just strong. It's not terribly toy-friendly, at all."

Hubs: "Exactly. It felt like we were just rubbing skin a minute after applying the lube (and gooey skin at that). For a quick solo, it got the job done. But for anything remotely long term, you'd have to keep going back for additional lube. Its container is a good cover up, if you want post work out intimacy before the shower. I'd say the lube's best use is for straight intercourse, but don't stray too far from the bottle - you'll need more. Overall, it's a disappointment, as you really expect it to last throughout the experience. I'd save the money and experiment with something lower priced."

Then, the dog ate the lube that night, apparently enjoying the pomegranate flavoring.

For what you get, this lube is not worth the money. Your average drug store carries "female lubricants" that are only half the price of this, but are infinitely more effective for long term play. The feel of this product is very luxurious and almost elegant, yet it doesn't last. Largely, you can chalk that up to it being water-based, but it should still offer more than just a minute of heavy stroking and a fruity scent. It should make you sigh with ecstasy and close your eyes in bliss and it just doesn't. If you definitely need to use a water-based product, this is not a bad choice. Would we ever purchase this product again? Probably not the pomegranate flavor, but we may be willing to try another option from the same product line. The product really feels excellent, but we demand a lot more from a $14 bottle of slippery lube.
