Max Love!

I love, love, love this item. Personally, it's in my top three lubes. They are all tied for the top spot for different reasons. I love its lack of smell, and the way it feels. I mean, for a water based, I love this more than my toys sometimes. Seriously, this lube makes manual stimulation as awesome as it was when I just figured out what masturbation was. If you're alone or with your partner it is a good choice. However, just for everyone to know. It does have parabens.

Use

Maximus water based lubricant is amazing! It's great for anal and vaginal sex. I've had my bottle now for a few months, and it hasn't steered me wrong. I've tried a lot of lubes. Some of those lubes won't get raving reviews from me if I see them on here.

I personally loved the texture. It is pretty thick but not gooey. As much as it is thick and incredibly smooth. It's in a pump bottle, which allows for better control. It's not greasy at all and rubs into the skin nicely, so it feels good if your partner rubs your back with it.

Taste / Aroma

Here's the break down of taste: It taste like (expletive here). That's it. DO NOT eat it if you wish to keep any yum factor in your mouth. It's bitter and just plain gross. Granted I hate the taste of most lubes, so you can taste it if you want. I just don't advise it. However, it does not have a smell. In a way, that makes up for the terrible taste.

Performance

If you haven't picked up on it already, I ADORE this lube. It has surprising stamina. I thought, because it is easy to rub in and water based, it wouldn't last. Boy, I was so wrong! It feels just like wet pussy. It's awesome! I actually find I can go to sleep after sex without having to worry about washing up until my morning shower. Just a little bit goes a long way, so don't over do it or waste it. Trust me, you'll cry. My man went and used way too much when we first got it, and that's when you need to clean up. If you're not careful, you can get yourself seriously covered in the stuff. However, sometimes that can contribute to a really fun night, but you may want to shower after that one.

I still love this one. I ordered another bottle recently. However, I don't seem to be using it as much for anal play as I use to. Still it's my go to lube for most things. It is good to keep on hand and in your set of eventual products.

@Jimbo you're so right I forgot about that! I've never really had adverse reactions to lubes, other objects yes, lubes not so much. I for got some things might bother others. Sorry.

    • I know most people absolutely love this lube, but when I try to use it, it feels like my genitals are on fire! Could it be due to the parabens? Any thoughts, or any recommendations for another thicker water-based lubricant?
    • I'm not sure if it's kosher to mention a competitor's product here, but BabeLube is a wonderful water-based lube that's comparable in thickness to Maximus.
    • Maximus is my go-to lube. I have very sensitive skin and have never had a problem with it.

    • Two negative things I've seen written are that it has a bitter aftertaste and it does peel off, dry, and need to be washed off.

      Positives and opposites I've heard are that it has a natural tasteless feel similar to saliva, and it is a thicker lubricant. Also the pump looks like a great feature that makes this product less messy.

      I would like to try it for myself, and wonder if it is really the go-to lube for me, and for others like me.
    • This is my favorite water-based lube, hands down and without a doubt. It's pretty thick (ideal for backdoor fun). I've fallen asleep with it on my hands and don't wake up with fuzzy or sticky palms (until they get wet, then it reactivates).

      Maximus is my go to lube, rarely use anything else. It is slightly bitter but not bothersome. It is thicker and also works very well for anal. I never feel the need to wash it off unless I overdue in the heat of passion.

    • It really isn't very big - I have mine it a bedside drawer. Maximus is so thick that you don't have to worry about it leaking unless you really press on the bottle. If my mind isn't playing tricks on me, the bottle is about 2-3/4" in diameter and 4-1/2 to 5 inches tall (including pump), and I think it's closer to 4.5

      I think mine's good to 2013 or something (I'm not at home now, but I can check later), so I wouldn't worry about it going bad
