Maximus Amo!

extremely useful review
Maximus is a thick water-based lubricant that stays slick during use. It is scentless and tasteless, although it does have a slightly bitter aftertaste. Maximus works great for both vaginal and anal sex, and is easy to clean off.
Pros:
Water-based, thick, stays slick, lasts a long time.
Cons:
Slightly bitter aftertaste, only available in one size.

This has really become our go-to lube. I love the staying power that Maximus has, and how it doesn't get sticky or dry out. It hasn't stained any carpet or furniture (and it does get on those on occasion).
I really love the pump top on this. It doesn't clog, and it's easy to dispense.
The bottle is lasting us quite a long time, but I definitely will be buying more when we are close to running out.

LikeSunshineDustDoes Maximus come in any other size bottles? I feel like 8 oz. would be a lot for me to use before it goes bad. Also, it seems like a big bottle to store somewhere discrete. -
ScottAIt really isn't very big - I have mine it a bedside drawer. Maximus is so thick that you don't have to worry about it leaking unless you really press on the bottle. If my mind isn't playing tricks on me, the bottle is about 2-3/4" in diameter and 4-1/2 to 5 inches tall (including pump), and I think it's closer to 4.5
I think mine's good to 2013 or something (I'm not at home now, but I can check later), so I wouldn't worry about it going bad -

For some reason 8 oz seems a lot bigger to me. lol

Great review!
We have Maximus and like it too.
No irritation from the parabens?
Newme21 - thanks for the comment!
Saraid - no, no irritation at all for me. It might cause some irritation if you are sensitive to parabens, but neither of us had any problem.
I'd worry about it killing good bacteria along with bad bacteria in the vagina.
According to their site, it doesn't kill bacteria, it just doesn't allow bacteria to spread through its use.
Great review of my favorite lube. I love it that it doesn't run and lasts.
In the past I had too many "wet spots" in my bed from lubes from tubes with spilling.
Thanks!
I've had those too - it never fails that we knock over the bottle, and with the flip caps it's my luck the cap is open.
Thank you so much for your review! I've heard good things about this as a water based lube
The only one I've tried so far is ID Glide, so I think this one might be next on my list to check out...Great review!
Thank you!
I think you'll like this one if you get it
Great review! Listen to her guys, the pump makes this thing worth while.
Thanks!
Holy Crap! There are so many reviews of this stuff.
Yours popped up on the review page, and I agree with it entirely, as with the comments. Why bother writing another.
I would rank this as my absolutely favourite lube...with Pjur eros a close second (different time, place, purposes I would say).
Misha's Amusements almost got me to consider Probe Thick...but as my wife and I see to have no problem with the preservatives etc. in this, why go for something else?
Thanks.
It does have a lot of reviews

i'm curious as to whether or not you think this would be a good product for someone with sensitive skin? Seems like every lube i try irritates her. Everything from silcone lube to premium water based, i seem to be striking out
I'm honestly not sure how this would be for sensitive skin. It does contain parabens, which do irritate some people. It also comes in a really large bottle, so if it did cause irritation you'd be left with a lot of unusable lube.
Sorry I can't help more!
