Maximus - water based lube by Bodywise Limited - review by *Ashley*

Maximus is a water-based lubricant made by Bodywise Limited. It is among the top 10 water based lubes for a reason. It's thick, non-greasy and long-lasting. This lube can be used vaginally, anally, with sex toys and masturbation. Anyone and everyone can use this lube. It is a super slick and long-lasting; also a body, toy and condom friendly lubricant.

Maximus is Bio-Static, meaning it will prevent the spreading of bacteria, fungi spores & yeast infections. The safety feature of this product is that it is ‘L-Arginine' and ‘Glycerin' free. The ingredients for this wonderful product are: Highly Purified Water, Propylene Glycol Cellulose Polymer, Di Sodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Methyl Paraben, Butyl Paraben, Ethyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben. So make sure you are not sensitive to any of its contents, for this could not be the best lube for you.

The best use I've had with this product is for anal sex, vaginal sex and masturbation with my sex toys; my partner even uses it with his masturbators. This is a over-all great sexual lubricant. The only thing I wouldn't recommend is oral.

Maximus has a smooth, thick, gel-like, but not stringy or greasy texture. Ever heard of the saying "a little dab will do ya"? That's just the case here. I'm impressed with how far one pump of this lube will go. It's very easy to dispense with its pump-top. One pump of this lube will surely lubricate any of your sex toys, as well as your partner. I find myself even using a half of a pump and it being just enough. With that being said this will last awhile for you. It just rubs into your skin like a lotion would, it's like it just disappears. This lube also stays in place well, not too runny or anything.

Maximus lube has no scent to it with whatever I use it on; sex toys or my partner. It does however have a bitter aftertaste if it gets on your tongue.

I have yet to outlast this lube, meaning no replying needed! One pump of this stuff is more than enough for me. I have used Maximus anally as well as vaginally and it felt simply amazing. It always gets the job done. I can go for hours, with a toy or my partner, and have yet needed to reapply. Also when using this lube it doesn't dry up on you, leaving you behind with any residue.

Cleaning/washing up is required if you want to do oral. I find that if I have sex with my partner and want to finish him up with oral, it does not taste good at all and is a turn off. All you need is some soap and water to get the taste off of him. When it comes to my sex toys, I'm not sure if its me or the lube, but if not washed off right away it will flake up on your toy.

Maximus comes in a 8.25 fl.oz. bottle which looks like a soap dispenser. It is a discreet looking bottle. When you begin to read it though you'll know what it is used for, note "sensual lubricant". It is a clear plastic bottle with a clear sticker on it, the sticker has black lettering, as well as simple black drawings of a Greek column and urn. The Maximus bottle is also stamped with best before date. Mine is dated for Jan 2015, plenty of time to use it all up. A piece of safety tape is placed over the pump for the buyer to remove, that insures you that this has not been opened or tampered with. The bottle has a locking pump. This lubricant has yet to leak on me, even when stored on its side. I love the fact that I can use this with one hand, since it is a pump after all. It allows you to have a free hand to do as you please and it's less of a mess to clean up.

I absolutely love Maximus! I first used it with my partner. We loved the pump and how easy it was to dispense. I could use one hand to get him hard and the other to then apply the lube, no messes involved! It lasted hours, when we finished we were just as slick from when we started. What I didn't like about this lube is that it leaves a bitter aftertaste I just couldn't get over. No finger licking or after math blow jobs unless you wash up. It did keep my toys slick, and never needed to be reapplied on them or my partner. It didn't dry out or get sticky on me. This lube allowed for easy and lasting penetration. This is now my/our go to lubricant! This product definitely deserves its 5 stars.
