Maximus - lubricant discontinued by Bodywise Limited - review by SecretToyMan

This is a lubricant I purchased as a jack off lubricant about a year ago. There aren't tons of details to tell so I figured the standard review would do it good. To start, this lubricant is meant to be an anal lubricant. So it is going to be fantastic for that purpose. However, if you like nice slippery jack off sessions, this will also be really nice.

This lubricant feels thick, doesn't dry out until way after you're done, and feels like real vaginal lubrication. Nothing gets closer to vaginal lubricant than Maximus and that is my promise. Not to mention, a tiny bit goes a long way. For jacking off, the most I have used at one time is probably a nickel-sized amount... And that is often a little too much. For anal sex, a quarter-sized amount on my penis and a quarter-sized amount on my wife's ass is enough to go the whole way. Maximus is exceptional at both anal and jacking off.

When you look at the gel it almost seems as if there are tiny crystals in it. This is probably the high glycol count, which is what helps retain natural moisture in the product. This lubricant will NOT get sticky as it dries out like many other lubricants do. It literally just... dries up! It dries up and it disappears into your skin. I absolutely love this aspect of Maximus and I believe my wife does as well. She hates nothing more than a sticky vagina.

It is water-based and can be used with anything compatible. Good for all toys is a better way to put it. It really does make things slippery so you won't need a lot of this with your toys. Especially glass or shiny plastic. Toys made of silicone are just fine with this lubricant and feel very natural. It's just those glossy toys that I find get too slippery.

If you have ever tried Liquid Silk, which is Maximus's brother, you know that both lubricants are Bio-static. This basically means that it will prevent the spreading of bacteria, fungi spores, and even prevent yeast infections from spreading partner-to-partner. My wife actually noticed less yeast infections while using Maximus, which is great. The name 'Maximus', referring specifically to the ass, lets us know that this lube was designed with butt in mind. Maximus will not let you down!

Maximus comes in a clear, 8.25 oz pump bottle. The pump can be twisted sideways to prevent leaks and to close it for travelling. One bottle should last you a really long time. I bought this product about 8 months ago and I am just now replacing my bottle. The bottle clearly says "Water-based Lubricant" but it isn't something you'll notice right away. From afar it just looks like soap.

The only downside to the product is all the parabens. However, I am able to look past that because this lubricant is amazing and full of benefits!

Although I grabbed this lubricant for jack off purposes, both my wife and I have fallen in love with this for many other purposes. Not only does it lessen the possibility of bacteria being spread after anal sex, but it lessens these issues with sex in general. This lubricant is great for anal, masturbation, and regular old sex. It's probably the best lubricant I have ever used in my life! My wife would agree!

I have owned Maximus for a very long time and I still love it. Therefore, I am confident that my mind will never change. There's nothing that could change it! This stuff is amazing!
