This lubricant is fragrance and taste free. It does contain Menthol and has a slight smell to it. However it is very mild and does not smell minty. I can smell the silicone more than the Menthol and it is very light. The lubricant has no taste to it. I thought it might have a bit of a mint taste due to the ingredients but it doesn't.

We used this lubricant two different ways. First, I used it for anal play with plugs, dildos, and vibrators on my lover. He didn't notice a tingling sensation but was really impressed with the lubricant. I applied a small amount to his anus and then a little dab to the toy I was using. The toys glided in very easily and it took away the drag of some of the firmer materials. I did use this lubricant on the Groovy Chick which is made of silicone and it did no damage, so we were happy about that.

The second way we used it was for anal sex on me. He applied just a little to his shaft and then penetrated. I have to be honest, when I bought this, obviously I didn't read it close enough. I was looking for an anal lubricant and missed that it said 'cooling'. The tingling was a bit unexpected for me. At first it got really cold and then began burning slightly. The faster he was thrusting, the more reactive the lubricant was. It mildly bothered me at first and then I adjusted to it and really enjoyed the slickness of it. Personally, I don't like tingling lubes up my bum so it wasn't my favorite choice. All other properties were great. We only had to apply it once and it lasted the whole time and there was no mess afterward.

I think this lubricant works great for anal. My partner enjoyed it all-in-all more than I. For some reason he didn't feel the tingling (or burning) that I did. I used it on him for about an hour with a variety of toys and he really likes it. For me, I think I will just continue to use it on him and for myself, I will just use it vaginally because that is where I like getting tingled (not in my bum).

The dispenser is a simple pop-cap lid. It can be pressed open to dispense the lubricant and then closed. It does seem to leak mildly. I recommend keeping it upright to prevent staining on furniture and to keep it from leaking out as well.

The cooling property was very prominent for me. I felt it immediately and it became more reactive with more thrusting. For my partner though, he didn't notice it at all. So I guess it just depends on your bum? I have to say, that I think most individuals will notice it. I don't think necessarily everyone will feel the burning like I did. What can I say? My bum is sensitive! Overall, I think most users will enjoy it. It is rather mild but noticeable. It adds something unique to anal sex that is not provided by penetration alone.
