Mints are mints, right?

Mints are just mints, right? Well, how about mints with a twist? If you're looking for a fun simple way to get some energy, and to get horny, these mints are for you. On the other hand, if you're sensitive to certain things, like Guarana, this product might not be for you.

Use

Spanish fly is said to be an aphrodisiac. It's supposed to increase the libido. These mints give you that extra boost. Anyone can take these mints, male or female. There are some ingredients that some may not be compatible with, or may be allergic to. Also, some of the ingredients have been shown to cause negative effects on the human body. It would be a great gag gift for a bachelor party. The best use for this product is to be used to freshen your breath, or to be used as a mood stimulator. You can take them anywhere. They are packaged in a small tin that can easily be put into your pocket or purse. They are eaten or taken orally.

The ingredients are:
Sorbitol: This is a sugar alcohol, also know gluciol. It metabolizes slowly in the human body, and is found in things like apples, pears, peaches, and prunes.

There are natural and artificial flavors.

Horny goat weed: Horny goat weed is a leafy plant that is said to be an aphrodisiac that increases the libido in both men and women. It is also said to improve erectile function in men.

L-arginine: This is an amino acid found in products such as meat, poultry, fish, and nuts.

Tribulus: This is an herb that aids in helping those with a low libido. It's also said to help aid those with erectile dysfunction.

Calcium sterate: This is a white waxy powder used for coating candies, such as Smarties.

FD&C blue no.1: This is simple food coloring.

This product also contains guarana, which is found in almost all energy drinks. It helps give you energy.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

Like any other mint, these mints have that waxy coating on them. They are blue on one side, and white on the other. Spanish fly is water-based. They are a little larger and thicker then your average rounded Aspirin. They have a smooth, somewhat sticky feeling to them. They come in an easy to open tin container. The top twists off, and unless your tilting the container, they don't just fall out. The texture when in your mouth is that of a rough chalky feeling. They pretty much are your average mint with a twist.

Taste / Aroma

Spanish fly has an amazingly strong peppermint smell. It can almost be compared to menthol. The taste is also that of strong peppermint. I loved both the taste and smell. When I first put the mints in my mouth, the taste wasn't that strong, but it slowly got stronger the longer I sucked on them. If you bite into the mints, the taste is incredibly strong. They are also very sweet in flavor.

Performance

5-10 minutes after consuming 2 mints, I became very jittery. I had what felt like a lot of energy. I did also get rather dizzy from it. These feelings lasted for about an hour. I like the fact that I got that energy kick, but I did not like the fact that I got dizzy from this product. I did, however, get a more aroused feeling, as well. When I get turned on, my clitoris gets this tingly feeling to it, and I did get that feeling. I also became more sensitive to simple touches. They can be best compared to Yellow Jackets, which are caffeine pills. The mints are easy to use, and they don't make a mess.

Packaging

Spanish fly comes packaged in a little metal tin inside of a cardboard and plastic container. It is silver, and it has a clear opening on the top so you can see the mints. The front of the packaging states the name of the product, and one of the ingredients which is guarana. The back of the packaging gives a brief description of what the product does. It also has the supplement facts on it, as well. It lists information such as calories, sodium, and carbohydrates. The tin is easy to hide and can be taken anywhere. The mints come packaged in a 1 oz. tin, with a total of 28 mints.

Experience

My overall experience with this product was decent. I really don't think that this is the right product for me, due to some of the feelings (like the dizziness) I got. For those looking for that energy kick with a twist of horny added to it, then these are for you.
Follow-up commentary
I still get sick every time I have tried using this product. I still get the dizzy sick to my stomach feeling. It is not something for me and at this point I can honestly say I would not recommend this to anyone.

A little FYI, guarana basically effects the body the same as caffeine. (Fancier name=more $). It's not particularly dangerous in my opinion, but I just think people should know.
