Good head gel - water based lube by Doc Johnson - review by LaLaLouise

My usual disclaimer: I am more than happy to give as honest and thorough a review as I can, but please keep in mind that everyone is different. I am one of those fortunate women whose monthly bills are not nightmares, but mere annoyances. However, my guy and I are not the type to get intimate when it's that time. (He says he does not like to look down afterward and see a "crime scene." Can't say that I blame him, if I had a penis I wouldn't want it to look like it was brutally murdered, either.) Because of this, I started affectionately referring to my period as "Blowjob Week!" I will sometimes perform partial blow jobs during foreplay leading up to actual sex, but usually don't finish the, job except for that magical week.

I have used a handful of flavored lubes and oral sex gels, and I find Good Head to be tied for first place with System JO H20 Flavors. The gel is not so thick that it gets sticky. I have never had to reapply unless I accidentally didn't get enough to begin with. I usually squeeze about a quarter-sized dollop into my hand. Then again, I've gotten it down to an art and it doesn't usually take more than ten minutes or so.

I've only tried the Passion Fruit. The flavor is really good, not overwhelmingly sweet, but sweet enough to be an enjoyable treat (I didn't mean for that to rhyme, I swear)! I have heard from coworkers and customers that the cherry tastes a bit like cough syrup, but I've heard that about a LOT of cherry-flavored lubes, oral sex gels, massage oils, etc. The mint is advertised to provide a cool, tingling sensation, the cinnamon a warm tingling. Have not experienced either of these as neither of those flavors sound appealing to me.

It advertises that it has a very mild numbing effect that makes going deeper a little easier, and I have found this to be true. Not that I'm a champion deep throater, I take full advantage of the hand/mouth combo. But my gag reflex is not as easily stimulated when I use Good Head. According to my guy, he doesn't notice any numbing for him, which is good obviously.

I've never had any trouble cleaning it up. It's water-based obviously, so usually just a little water and soap rinse it right away. I've never asked my guy if he has trouble cleaning it off of him, but he's never complained (then again he's a sweetie and probably wouldn't complain even if he had a reason to).

I find that I don't really have to use a lot of it. I've had the same little resealable bottle (shown here as a pack of five, but I purchased an individual one) for a few months, have probably used it around ten times. Probably still have enough for five to ten times more! All in all, I find this to be a really good product. When I run out, I will most definitely try another flavor, and I recommend them to my customers all the time!
